San Fransisco, 2086 c.e.

Nobody could ever expect what would happen on this very year.

The morning passed on like the flying birds in the sky. Not a single soul would ever know what would pass on this very day.

To be even more exact, only 18 families would know of the events that were to pass.

Listen and watch as these scenes unfold.
----------------------------------------------

The alarm clock rang, signaling the start of a brand new day.

Zach groaned in exhaustion as he slammed his fist into the 'off' button.

He silently rose upright, and yawned tiredly.

He smacked his lips several time before stating "What a beautiful morning."

His face went from a smile to a contorted frown "Too bad I'm in this dump of an orphanage."

He silently got himself out of his bed and started his day.

He quickly dressed into his orange t-shirt and loose jeans. He sighed as he grasped his small comb to comb his hair. Of course, he winced in pain due to the horrid tangle that had formed in his hair as he done so.

He silently made his bed and wandered around. Today was check up day for the orphanage for boys. But he obtained a strange feeling that there it going to be different than all of the other days. He can't quite determine what it was, but it surely was not a good feeling.

But he couldn't quite ponder too long about that. Because at that very moment, he heard the sound of knocking on his door.

Quickly, but quietly, he ran to the door, not knowing who it was.

He hesitated for a moment, wondering wether or not he should open it. He shut his eyes shut for a moment, and then opened them as he inhaled sharply as he opened the door.

And he viewed a friend that he had made over the years gone by.

The sprightly black-haired female had her eyes shut and her face in her signature smile that coerced Zach into his very own grin.

"Zach, my father would like to see you in his office in an hour." she said, bowing toward him.

"But why does your father want to see me? I haven't done anything wrong. Unless....." he trailed off. He shook his head as if the very thought itself was a taboo for him.

"Even if that was the case, we're still friends, right?" the female inquired.

"Sure Carrie." Zach responded, face smiling once again. His thoughts turned back to what was said. 'There's nobody who wants me.' he thought.

He tried to turn away but was stopped by Carrie. She stared at his unusually neon green eyes before they pulled each other into a close embrace.

They've always have done this as to signal their close friendship. And this was no different.

There stood a moment of silence. All that COULD be heard was the songs of the chirping robins and blue jays outside.

But Carrie broke the silence. "Promise me Zach. Promise that you'll keep in touch." she broke the silence.

"You're making it sound like I'm gonna get adopted really soon. You know not to joke around like that." he replied.

"I don't care. We're best friends thats why.  You never know when you'll get adopted." Carrie smiled.

"You're right." Zach replied.

----------------------------------------------

"Hurry up. You're gonna be the rotten egg!" a short female said in a childish tone.

"Shut it. Or I'll shut you for good." came the reply.

"Hey, Melissa, thats no way to treat your sister. Doesn't matter wether or not you just came back or not." their father sternly replied.

Melissa just folded her arms around her chest as she closed her eyes and turned away from the dirty-blonde man.

Her father just sighed and rubbed his face in distress.

"Doesn't matter to me. You never cared for him." she spat back.

Her sister gasped in horror as her father just looked at her.

"You're right. I didn't do anything to help him. And you have every right to be mad at us. And no matter how many times I say that I'm sorry, I'll know that you'll never forgive me for that. And I'll never forgive myself." he explained slowly.

Melissa's eyes began to fill up with tears as she just walk away briskly, leaving the duo in the room.

"I still can't believe that she still has a grudge about that. I hope that she'll feel better about it." Kaitlin stated.

"Oh, she'll never forget THAT. She was way too close to him. To her, he was her only true friend." the father finished.

If only she knew what would happen...
----------------------------------------------

The only sound that was heard was the rain on the ground.

The dark, gloomy clouds were driving themselves through the early morning sky as the inhabitants rested in their beds.

But, the household of a certain gray mansion would have a certain blonde running around, getting ready for the fated day to come.

The child needed to work quickly, his OCD kicking in, coercing him to clean every speck of dirt.

No particle would been seen. He smirked at the very thought as he always did when he would do something nice or meaningful to others.

And as he continued to clean the house and make his family breakfast as they continued to sleep during the gloomy morning that stood its ground in the sky.

But nobody would anticipate what would come to pass that one fateful day.
