The next day, Saturday, Luis decided to take Beatrice to an amusement park - Rizal Amusement Park. It was a simple amusement park but for Luis, it was a good place to have fun.
Beatrice was eating cotton candy which Luis thought that it was very cute of her. "Why'd you take me here?"
Luis shrugged. "I don't know. I just felt like going here."
"I like how you feel. You always go to beautiful places," Beatrice said.
Luis chuckled. "It's almost lunchtime. Where do you want to eat?" Luis asked.
"I want barbecue!" Beatrice said like a child. Luis nodded in agreement.
While they were walking, a girl called out on Luis.
"Luis!" The girl ran towards him while dragging the guy who she came with.
She was wearing a white polo shirt that was inserted in her skater skirt. She was pretty. Really pretty. Like a model.
Luis widened his eyes in shock. "C-Cassandra, what are you doing here?"
"Well," Cassandra placed an arm around Sandro's arm. "Sandro and I are having a date right now." Sandro was obviously uncomfortable with the atmosphere. Beatrice was glaring at Sandro.
"Oh? Did you guys eat lunch yet?" Luis asked.
"Not yet. And who's this pretty girl? Your girlfriend, Luis?"
"Nope. Just a friend," Luis smiled.
Beatrice and Sandro were not talking with anyone. They arrived at this barbecue station and started eating. Cassandra was spoon feeding Sandro every once in a while and that made Beatrice cringed. Her heart was still in pain. Her tears were threatening to fall but she was holding it back.
Not until Cassandra was wiping the barbecue sauce on Sandro's cheek. She suddenly kissed him on the cheek and that pulled the trigger. Beatrice stood up and excused herself. She had enough. Luis looked at Sandro with eyes that contain anger.
"See? This is what I was talking about. Well done, Sandro," Luis spatted and chased after Beatrice.

Why the hell am I crying? Why are my tears falling nonstop? Beatrice tried to stop crying but she couldn't.
"Beatrice, stop right there," Luis ordered. He was a meter away from Beatrice. Beatrice stopped. Luis back hugged Beatrice before making her face his side. He made sure that he didn't see her crying face.
"Why... why are you crying?" Luis asked.
"I... I... think I like him, Luis," Beatrice cried.
Luis hugged her tightly but not that tight. Luis sighed. Trying to release the pain from his heart. "Just cry. I'll always be here for you, Trice." Beatrice nodded but was still crying.
After she calmed down, Luis took her home. She didn't move from her seat. She was just staring blankly.
"Beatrice..." Luis called. She didn't answer.
Luis held her hand and that made her look at him. Her tears were threatening to fall once again.
"I... I made a mistake, Lu..." she cried. "I thought that he was serious about me... Why did I fall for him instead of you? I'm sorry. I'm really sorry."
I wish I was him, Luis thought. He held her hand tightly as if he wasn't letting her go any moment. Minutes later, Beatrice calmed down.
"I'm sorry, Luis," she apologized while looking down.
"It's okay, Trice. Please rest, okay?" Beatrice nodded. She opened the door and waved good bye. Luis just smiled.
