Five months later, they graduated. Luis and Beatrice were in good terms after a month from the day Beatrice confessed. Beatrice haven't seen nor heard about Sandro ever since that day.
Luis dragged Beatrice to the corner of the auditorium. "We graduated, huh."
Beatrice nodded. "So, what are you going to do after?" Beatrice asked.
"About that, I'll be going back to London tomorrow," Luis informed.
Beatrice raised a brow. "Why?"
"That's what my parents told me. I don't know when I'll be back but I swear, I'll come and get you."
"I should be in the airport tomorrow too..."
Luis smiled. "No need. But, will you welcome me at the airport when I get back? If you will, that means that you'll be mine."
"We'll see," Beatrice teased.
They were called by their parents and they had their goodbyes. Beatrice sighed deeply and smiled. She felt that a burden was lifted up from her shoulder.

After the graduation ceremony, Luis texted Sandro. He wanted to meet him before he'll go to London. Sandro agreed and they met on that night at their favorite place.
"Hey, bro," Luis said and they did this bro code again.
"You're leaving tomorrow and you didn't tell me ahead of time? What's with that?" Sandro said as they sat down.
"Well, shit happened, right?"
Sandro sighed. "Look, I'm sorry, Luis."
Luis interrupted. "I'm not here to hear your apology, Sandro. I'm here because I would like you to take care of Beatrice for me while I'm away."
Sandro's eyes widened. "Are you not worried that she'll become my girlfriend soon?"
"You might be together but I believe that she'll run to me than to you," Luis said with confidence.
Sandro laughed. "Oh yeah? Unfortunately, Cassandra went back to California a month ago."
Luis smirked. "I don't give a damn about her, Sandro."
"If Cassandra will hear that, she'll probably cry."
"I don't care. The only girl that I care about is Beatrice,," Luis said with a smile on his face.
"You're whipped but I like her too. Remember that," Sandro said.
"May the best man win?"
"May the best man win."
"I won't give her up."
"Neither will I."

After passing the board exam, Beatrice arrived home from Cebu to visit her grandmother. On that night, Christine called her saying that she was in front of her house because they will go to the club to celebrate. Beatrice was tired but she wanted to hang out with her best friend before looking for a job.
Beatrice quickly changed her clothes. She wore a red cocktail dress and black high heels.
They arrived in Lux Club. Beatrice was a bit uncomfortable as she was seeing couples making out and dancing sexily, grinding their bodies together. Yes, she drinks but she never rave.
She was at the bar and ordered tequila. Christine told her to wait at the bar. Minutes later, Christine came and a guy was tailing her.
"Trice, this is my boyfriend, Jake Ejercito," she introduced. "And now, I will leave the both of you because I'll request some songs." Jake and Beatrice nodded. Christine left.
"Hi, I'm Jake Ejercito and you are?" Jake said. He held out his hand, waiting for Beatrice to shake it.
"I'm Beatrice Castillo," she shook his hand. "This is my first time hearing that Christine already has a boyfriend. I'm rather shocked."
Jake chuckled. "Yeah, that's because she doesn't like people ask questions about this and that."
"That's true," Beatrice said.
Beatrice and Jake were so into their conversation about Christine that they did not hear who the next DJ was.
Christine came back again. "Hey, guys. Were you talking about me?"
Beatrice and Jake were laughing. "Babe, I always talk about you."
"Yeah, whatever, babe. I found some friends from high school so have fun sitting down, killjoys!" Christine laughed hysterically and left.
Beatrice turned to Jake. "So, you're just here because Christine will waste herself here?" she asked.
"That's right and also, I need to watch her from a distance. She's gorgeous and we're in a club so you know what will happen," Jake said while drinking a shot of vodka.
"Such a sweet and caring boyfriend. So, is Christine - ," Jake couldn't hear what Beatrice said because the music got loud for a moment so he leaned closer as if they were kissing when you're far from them.
The music stopped and a few moments later, Jake felt a punch on his cheek. He fell down from his chair.
Beatrice gasped. "Oh my gosh! Jake, are you okay?" she immediately helped Jake stand up again. "What the fck are you doing?" She, then, turned to the guy who punched his new friend. Beatrice's eyes widened in shock.
"Sandro?"
