It was on Thursday when Luis was absent due to his parents visiting him. Beatrice and Christine just finished their early afternoon classes. They were about to go home when a Ford Ranger was parked in front of the school and a guy was leaning on the car wearing a white polo and black jeans with aviators to protect his eyes from the sun. There were a lot of people murmuring and gossiping like who was he waiting for or he's hot.
Christine and Beatrice looked at each other with shock painted on their faces. Sandro spotted them so he approached them.
"Trice, I think he's here for you," Christine said.
"What? Then, I'll go home now. Just tell him that I'm not feeling well," Beatrice said. She was walking back inside the school and Sandro was about to chase her when Christine blocked him.
"Christine, what on earth are you doing?" Sandro asked.
"Beatrice said that she's not feeling well so she'll go home," Christine lied.
"Thanks for lying, Chris. Thanks to you, I want to chase her right now. So, good bye for now, cous!" Sandro said and chased Beatrice.
Beatrice was walking fast but she suddenly felt a hand on her wrist. She knew who that person was. She took a deep sigh and turned to the person who was holding her wrist.
"What do you want from me, Sandro?" Beatrice said, making sure that she was controlling her anger.
"Why are you ignoring me?"
"Says the one who ignored me last Saturday when I was about to go home!" Beatrice closed her eyes. Did. She. Just. Say. That. Out. Loud. Yes, she just said that out loud. She reminded herself that she'll pound her head with a cement when she gets home.
Sandro smirked. "Oh really? So you were always looking at me, huh? Ms. Castillo, I never knew that you're that kind of girl."
Beatrice was about to explode due to irritation. "Would you please let me go, Sandro? I don't want to see you."
"No, I won't."
"Why?"
"Because you are feeling well. If you weren't, then, I would have went home," he said while dragging Beatrice out of her school.
Beatrice was struggling but Sandro won't budge. They just passed by Christine. Christine just smiled and waved them goodbye. Beatrice told herself that she'll make Christine buy her her favorite dishes. Beatrice was inside Sandro's car. Sandro locked the doors.
"Do you hate me that much?" Sandro looked at Beatrice.
"Who wouldn't? This is kidnapping."
"You're not a kid anymore," Sandro said as he started the engines.
"Ladynapping, then," she mumbled.
Sandro laughed. "What? Ladynapping? God, I didn't know you're that funny, ms. Castillo and also, I reckon that you fancy interacting with people you don't like."
Beatrice was as red as tomato due to embarrassment. "Shut up, stupid."
Sandro was driving. "What's the relationship between you and Luis?"
"Friends."
"Right," Sandro said flatly. "You don't remember my dad at all like way before we first met?"
"Not at all. What's the work of mr. Marcos?"
"He's a politician."
Beatrice was silent and then spoke. "That's why his son is spoiled as fck."
