Amilyn's P.O.V

I screamed as I woke up. "Woah! Hey Amy! Calm down." Addison said, and rushed to sit beside me.

"Wh-what time is it?" I stuttered out.

"Around 9pm. Your mom left dinner for you downstairs. She's in her room right now." she explained to me. "What happened? Why did you scream?"

"Bad dream. I... I'll go eat. Did you eat?" I asked, calming down. She nodded. I sighed. "Uhm, sorry for worrying you. Oh, by the way. I'm gonna go out for a walk. And I'll definitely be fine."

She sighed. "Fine, I'll just be here reading these comics. You have any whiskey here?" she asked.

"Yeah, under my bed." I told her.

I went downstairs to the dining room, she left like nuggets and rice. I sighed why is this dinner? It took me 5 minutes before I finished. Jeez. That wasn't enough. But I never really a lot.

I left home and took a walk outside. Possibility of getting caught? Maybe around 51%? I sighed. It seemed darker than usual. I summoned a bit of fire as a light. I took out my phone from my hoodie pocket. I decided to text Jeremiah again.

To: Jeremiah Lindermann
From: Amilyn Collins
Time: 9:11PM
Message: Got caught by Kiefer. Didn't know what he wanted. But there was definitely something wrong. Cause there were guards roaming the school after I was asked to stay after school by my last period teacher. I was even lectured. Wherever the hell you are. Whatever the hell you are doing. Get back already.

I closed my phone and kept it in my pocket. I kept walking around with the small fire from my hand guiding me. It was dark. I looked up. Nothing. Must be too cloudy.

Then I got this strange feeling. Being followed. Of course. It might just be my brain making me think that.

I summoned fire on both hands. "Who the hell is there?!" I yelled, constantly looking behind me. It was still silent. Disturbingly silent.

I grabbed my back-up Compulsion-Proof earplugs and put it on in case. Because of what I have observed. Compulsion is the mostly used power among the Inhumanes I have seen. Not much can control fire. Or even have enhanced speed.

I calmed myself down a little. I let the fire fade away from my hands then I kept walking away. I went to the town park. It was large enough. I sat on one of the park benches. The park was dimly lit.

I summoned a bit of fire. I just wanted to feel more safe. I looked up. The sky seemed to clear a little. I could see the moon. It was a full moon. Weird.

I had an idea for another gadget. A censor. Something that can tell me if there's an Inhumane nearby. It'll definitely be useful.

I sighed and got back up. I decided to breathe in the fresh air. It was nice smelling this instead of fire. The Arsonist would definitely be better than Eclipse.

These thoughts are killing me. But I'm like this. Just as I was about to leave. Someone suddenly grabbed my arm. Definitely Inhumane. Enhanced strength possibly. Cause my arm started to hurt by how he's grabbing me.

I didn't turn around yet to see who my attacker is. "Who the hell are you and what the f*ck do you want?" I said and summoned a bit of flames. Enough that he won't notice. Stupid news. Making me known to basically the entire town. No surprise that everyone wants to murder me.
