Jeremiah's P.O.V

I don't know how long I've been trapped down here, probably a few days or so but I can't take it anymore. The Dark Figure has me trapped in this chamber with a completely white room that only had enough space to fit me in it. In there, I'm being tortured. Every time I deny the Dark Figure's request to join him, he electrocutes the walls of the room, electrocuting me with it. I'm starting to lose my mind. All the thoughts of killing them all were flooding my mind. I haven't gone completely insane though, but I wouldn't want to. And there I was, just sitting there hugging my knees just thinking about life.

"Join us Jeremiah." the Dark Figure said from outside the room. There was only one small window from outside the room. I couldn't break it though, it's not made of normal glass.

"For the last time, no!" I replied. This was the same question he has been asking me since the day I was caught. I don't know what his intentions are with, he is probably gonna turn me into his lapdog, like Keith with Kiefer f*cking Sullivan.

"We've been through this Jeremiah, you know what I'll do with you once you deny me again." The Dark Figure said, grasping his hands to the lever that activates the walls.

"Pftt. You think electricity scares me?" I said, taunting him. He pulls the lever, electrocuting me once again. I was screaming in so much pain. I have no idea how many watts he used this time, but half of me had just been barbequed.

"How was 10G?" the Dark Figure asked me.

"I'll kill you!!!" I said as I banged my hands to the front wall of the room.

"In time, you will know how to serve me." he said to me. "I'll ask you the same question later, you can deny me if you want 20G."

He left the room and slammed the door shut. I was back to thinking about life. I wait again for someone to rescue me. Amilyn probably already noticed that I was gone. I sure hope she comes for me. Suddenly, I heard some rumbling on the air vents. I don't know what it is or who it is. As the air vent opened, a face came out. It was Josh!

"Josh, what are you doing here?" I asked him,

"Shhhh." he said to me, "Keep quiet, I'm trying to save you."

From all the people I expected to save me, I didn't expect him. The last time I saw the guy, he told me to never cross paths with him again, but now he is saving me? I have no idea what's going on at all.

Using his powers, Josh turned the walls of my imprisonment into liquid blood. I was free! The blood also turned my half burnt body back to normal. Afterwards, he gave my bag.

"Thanks." I said to him.

"Don't thank me yet." he said to me in return. "We still have to get you out of this compound."

"Oh right." I replied.

Josh took cover behind the door leading to the corridors. He opened it a little and took a peep outside. There was no one there.

"We're good to go." Josh said to me. "Follow me."

I did what he told me to do. I followed him. As I left the chamber, it was a long dark corridor. I didn't know the path the Dark Figure used to send me down here as I was knocked unconcious the last time. We took the path to the right.

"Why are you saving me?" I asked him

"The moment I heard that you were captured, I knew we both of us and Layton had the same enemy." he said to me.
