Part 3 - My Daughter (Y/N)

Edward's POV
"Why are you here!" I yell.
"What do you mean, who are you and what are you doing in our house!" She yells back, the room dies down as we continue to scream nonsense back and forth. Mr Hughes looks over, sees the girl and I yelling and comes to calm us down.
"Hey, hey! What's going on here?" He says. I look him directly in the eyes but before I can speak my point the girl starts shouting.
"Dad, who is this?!" She yells. I stand there confused. Dad? Oh, she must be Mr Hughes daughter (Y/N). She looks at me with a glint of confusion but also fear for some reason.
"(Y/N), this is Edward Elric, the Fullmetal Alchemist. Ed as you know, this is (Y/N), my eldest daughter." He says with a smile. I look back at her and our eyes meet, I recognise them from somewhere, but I leave it alone. She turns and walks away, not saying a word. She opens the door to a room and slams it shut. We all stand there in confusion. Mr Hughes pushes his glasses onto his nose more and sighs.
" she's never like this, never. I don't know what is going on with her but for some reason I can sense she feels stressed about something," he states. "I feel sorry for her because of her past so I never know what to say to her, she's only confident when she's around the people she can trust." He finished. Al and I look at each other and sigh.
"Mr Hughes, do you mind telling us about her more, she seams intriguing?" I queried. He looked at me sympathetically.
" I'm sorry boys, I would tell you but she hasn't even told me, all I know is that he ran away from her home and both her birth parents are dead. If you think I'm lying, I'm not. That's all I know, if you wanna know more I would ask her yourself but not right now." He said. I question this. Why would she not even tell the person raising her, I know the past is a difficult subject to talk about but I don't see the point of holding it all back to yourself. It's quite rude if you ask me. Alphonse and I are in a different situation to her so she has no reason to hold it back from the world. We all go back to the party and have a great time until it was time to leave. We were about to leave when I heard crying from the room (Y/N) ran into. I slowly walked over to the door as held my hand up, but didn't knock. I waited a minute before building up the courage to tap on the door. It went quiet and the crying stopped. I started to speaking.
"Hey, I wanna say sorry for earlier okay, I'm sorry." I whisper so only Al, (Y/N) and I heard. I didn't hear any movement so just took it as a sign to leave. We left and walked to our apartment. I walked in and flopped onto the bed, took out my braid, jacket and shoes and fell asleep thinking of (Y/N) and some what of Winry, I do miss her since I'm here in the capital. But I have to do what it takes to get Mine and Al's body's back to the way they was before we committed the ultimate taboo. I have to... Not only for Al, but for me to prove I'm stronger and willing to fight for what I rightfully deserve. So I need to stop focusing on (Y/N), and work if I'm going to find a way to obtain the Philosopher's Stone. I must get it, I just have to...

I then fell asleep.
