“What was that..?” Lewa gasped, rubbing his head as he dragged the still unconscious Austherian out of the cavern, lying her down on the grass outside the cavern. As the master of stone emerged from the tunnel, Kopaka followed behind him, helping Ekimu rest down on the moonlit grass.

“I can only assume the origin of such a creature...” Ekimu groaned, rubbing his neck as he rolled his head.

“Well what would be your best guess?” Kopaka asked, dropping to the ground and crossing his legs, resting his hands on his knees.

“There are legends of creatures from another version of this reality. The shadow realm.” The mask maker said, letting out a sigh. “Given it’s abilities, voice, and appearance, I can only assume that was one of those creatures.”

“Something from another reality stole the mask of imitation? Should we not be greatly concerned?” Pohatu asked, crossing his arms and pacing in front of the cavern’s mouth. “Surely this sort of creature would be a larger threat than Makuta.”

“Makuta is searching for the mask of control and the mask of ultimate power, they are equal threats currently.” Ekimu said. “Besides. Kulta was just the beginning of Makuta’s forces. I fear we have yet to see even half of his allies.”

“If this is true..we’ll need far more support than we currently have...” Lewa said, holding up his broken axe.

“Do not worry. I have a plan.” Ekimu smirked.

“And what is that..?” Asked a gentle, weary voice, as the Toa and Ekimu all drew their attention to the Austherian girl, who was sitting up at this point. Her lime green armor reflecting the moon’s light, her hand digging through the grass and soil nervously. Her bright green eyes observing them.

“Right… I was intent on giving each of the Toa an upgrade to unite with the six elemental creatures of Okoto. But it would seem a much different modification is in order. One to help you combat the looming darkness.” Ekimu stood, brushing off his armor as he turned to the trees. “Listen Toa. You must travel to your own regions. Inform the protectors to watch the villages closely. Then, come to my forge. I will be waiting.” He lifted his hammer and his shield from the ground, placing them on his back as he turned his head. He gave each of them an unsettling glance.

“Why?” Kopaka questioned, coming to his feet.

“I fear for the fate of Okoto...” Ekimu  said softly, stepping forward, vanishing in the brush.

“Well then...” Lewa mumbled.

“You all heard him. Set out.” Pohatu sighed, picking up his last Stormerang and placed it on his back. He pulled his dagger out, heading into the forest.

“Come, you.” Lewa said, pointing to the Austherian. “The primary jungle village is not all too far from here.” He said, motioning for her to follow.

“Yes Toa.” She nodded, racing to her feet, grabbing her spear as they entered the wilderness.

“That’s it? Are we done?” Kopaka asked, sighing and adjusting his scope before climbing into the brush.
