As we enter the school, I see bad girl Brooke leaning against the wall with what looked to be a beer bottle in her hand. She gives me a dirty look, and I keep walking. "We just met, but I have a really fun time with you. I just wanted you to know that." He says as we walk. I feel my face going red. It's true. We just met, yet he makes me feel like everything's okay. After he stood up for me to Brooke, I knew he had a heart. I really liked that. Everyone seemed to be scared of her except him, after what he did.
We reach his room and enter. He closes the door. I look around his room, well, class room. He painted his walls baby blue and had a nice made queen sized bed with a plaid green blanket. I walked over to it and sat down. Comfy. He followed me. "One sec." He said, walking over to his dresser. He pulled out a big blue jays t-shirt out and set it down on a red beam bag chair. "You must wonder where we get the stuff from. We clear houses out and then we take down beds and chairs and anything that we can find and bring it back here to make you feel like your at home." Makes sense. He turns the opposite direction from me and slowly pulls off his shirt. I let out a gasp louder than I expected. "As if you've never seen a guy take a shirt off before." He playfully says. I stare at his back. Beautiful. He turns to face me. I look at his stomach. Beautiful. Looks like tiny abs. "Have you ever seen a guy take off his shirt before?" He asks. Truth is, I haven't. No guy ever saw beauty in me, or treated me like Calvin does. "O-only in movies." I stutter. He walks over to his bed, where I'm sitting. "It's okay. Look, Izzy. I meant what I said In the halls. We did just meet almost a day ago. But we have the best times. I don't even know how considering, like I said, it's only been a day. Sounds cheesy right? When I'm with you, I forget about the apocalypse. I forget about death. I forget about everything and think about you." Now my face was really red. I don't know if it was of what he was saying, or that he was speaking to me, still shirtless. "I feel that too. You made me feel safe. Protected me twice. Made me forget about my mother. I thank you for that."
He puts one hand on my thigh and the other on my cheek. "My pleasure, darling." He whispers. He smiles and leans in. Our lips combine. It feels almost as if electricity was bolting through my whole body. I didn't want him to pull away, but he does anyways. His bright blue eyes stare right into mine. He leans in once more and kisses me. This time, more aggressive, but in a good way. I put both of my hands on his cheek as he leans his body on mine, not breaking the kiss. Now, he was completely on top of me. I pull away gently and start to breath heavily. I don't know how this wonderful night is going to end, but I know I'll be happy with the outcome.
