JASON'S POV

I woke up sometime around 12 pm. Jordan wasn't anywhere to be found, so I just assumed she had went out on the town with her father. It finally struck me: I had sex with her.

A huge goofy smile spread across my face as I stared into the mirror just above her dresser. I have to say, I do look perfect laying in her bed. Everything smells just like her.

I quickly got dressed into a white t-shirt and a pair of ripped up jeans. I ran a hand through my hair, making it even more messier than before. Then, I slipped on a pair of vans and headed out the door.

I jumped into my car and drove to Jessica's hideout. I can't go without Max. He's all I got besides Jordan.

"Jessica!" I yelled out into the big open space. "Jessica!"

My voice echoed off of the walls. Soon, I heard footsteps coming around a corner.

Jessica glared at me. She folded her arms.

"How's Max?" I glared back.

"He's healing. He should be awake by now."

Without saying anything else, I walked down the steps into the basement where Max was being held. He sat in the same spot, but he looked better. His skin wasn't pale anymore, but he did look tired.

"Hey, man." He smiled up at me.

I sat down next to him, his body odor making me cringe. "Dude, take a shower."

"I would, but I don't wanna take a shower in the same shower as Jess. I can't get her cooties on me." He chuckled and leaned back against the cold brick wall.

Jordan crept into my mind once more, and I couldn't help but smile. I tried to hide it by looking away from Max.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Hold up!" Max looked at me suspiciously, grabbing my chin firmly and making me face towards him.

"What?" I asked, pushing him away.

"I haven't seen you smile like that since... Jessica. I take it you've had a good time with Jordan?"

I slowly nodded and smiled again.

Silence filled the room, but only to be broken by Max. "Was she good?"

"Dude-"

"No, seriously. Like, how was she?" He chuckled.

"She was good. She's the best I've ever had." I shyly looked away.

I hated talking about my feelings, but I can be real around Max. He's like a brother to me. More than Alex ever was.

"She's amazing." I smiled once more.
