Don't Go [EXO Luhan]

Chapter 7

"You're lucky to have her as your wife Luhan. But it's such a waste that she will leave us soon.", Amber broke the silence between them. After Tao leaved them, Amber took a place beside Luhan.

"What do you mean?", he asked. He feel scared and weird in the same time. He was trying to look Amber into her eyes but he can't. Amber was looking on the floor. Obviously avoiding to see Luhan's eyes.

"She's a strong woman Luhan. She's strong.", Amber began to speak again. This time, Luhan was positive that something is going on. He pulled Amber, to see her eyes. And he did it. He saw Amber's red and wet eyes. But when Luhan was about to open his mouth to ask, the doctor came out and called Luhan.

"Mr. Luhan?", the doctor called out his name with a smile. Obviously a good news for him. Luhan approached him and tried to smile even though his jaws was hurt and bruised. The doctor eyed his jaws suspiciously and pointed to it.

"Ah, nothing. I fell down from the stairs just now.", he hissed in pain. The doctor raised his eyesbrows. "Oh, the elevator is too packed. I just used stairs.", he keep giving lame answers and excuse. The doctor nodded his head. Not because he was understood, but because he doesn't want to waste the time.

"By the way Mr. Luhan, your wife and your child is safe. You got a baby girl Luhan. Congratulations.", the doctor said and leaved Luhan infront of the labour room. A small smile began to form on his face. Seeing how happy Luhan just now made Amber felt guilt. She was suppose to tell Luhan about Xuan's conditions. But she doesn't wanna ruin Luhan's happy moments. With that, she stood up and leaved Luhan.

After a few second, Luhan turned around to talk to Amber. But Amber was gone, she was no where to be found. Luhan sighed and get in into the labour room, to see his wife was lying on the bed breatheless while kissing her crying baby in her arms.

"Victoria...", he called. She lifted her head to see her husband cute face but to her shocked, his faced was bruised.

"What happen to your face?", she asked, tried to touch but Luhan stopped her. "I'm okay. I fell from stairs just now.", he said.

"You lie.", Victoria said in a stern voice. Luhan was speechless. "Luhan, you're worst at lying. Stop lying to me, please. You're not Xuan who-", she stopped. "Oh My God!!", she shouted. Her eyes were wided open. Shock expression was on her face, acted like she just saw a ghost.

"Where is Xuan jie?"

Luhan was running in the hallway, looking for a ward. Xuan's ward. After what Tao, Amber and Victoria told him just now made he felt more stupid, selfish and worst than be used to feel. After Victoria told him about Xuan, he quickly ran out from the labour room and asked those nurses around the emergency unit about Xuan, but no one knows.

If it tooks the whole day to run, I don't mind and I don't care as long as I can see Xuan! Oh my God, Xuan! Please forgive me.

"Luhan, where is Xuan jie?", she asked.

"I don't know."

"How can you say you don't know? She was with me this morning.", she whispered. "...and you were home..." she paused. "You pushed her!", her eyes were wide, gave Luhan a horror look.

"I pushed her because she trying to hurt you. I saw it!", he said.

"No! She was helping me. Because of the pain, I can't walked properly and I tripped.", she paused. "She was helping me. But before I black out, I heard you shouted at her. You even pushed her.", she added.

Luhan was speechless.

"...and I saw here bleeding...", she whispered.

"Bleeding? No. She's okay."

"No. She's not.", she sighed and looked at Luhan.

"Luhan, I've to tell you the truth. It's about Xuan jie. I'm sorry I didn't tell you about this. But I had promised her that I wouldn't tell you no matter what happen. But this time, you're too much. You have to know about this.", Victoria eyes becoming teary as she lifted her head to look into Luhan;s eyes.

"What do you mean? What is all this about?", he asked.

"Luhan, Xuan is not barren.", she paused. She took a few minutes to gather all her courages to speak. "She's not barren. She can pregnant. But if she pregnant with your child, she'll die. She chooses to lie to you beause she wanna live happily with you. But she's wrong. You're hurting inside and she saw it."

"She tried to make you happy but she failed. She didn't give up, until I came. She saw how happy you were whem you're with me. She saw your smile. She saw your laughed, the things that she missed the most. But you totally nglected her Luhan. Because of me, she suffered a lot."

"I thought she hated me, but she's not. Whenever you're not home. She is he only one who take care of me. Luhan, she's the most strongest woman that I have ever met."

"The moment I saw you pushed her, I'm hurt. Because I saw she hurt a lot. I could feel what does she felt. I'm a woman, Luhan."

"Actuallu, she's suffered cervical cancer. Her time almost come..."

He stopped at his track only to see Amber and Tao outside. Looking at their sad faces, he approached them. He approached Tao, and hessitately take a place beside him. As Tao turned to him, he closed his eyes waiting for a punch from him. But he feel nothing. He opened his eyes, and saw Tao was looking at him, sympathy.

"How was she?", he asked. Tao smiled, "The doctor was inside, checking on her because her heartbeat was stopped just now.", Luhan felt like his world spinning, but he keep himself strong. He needs to see you.

"Xuan, wake up honey. It's me Luhan. I'm here now, I'm here.", he whispered. His hands were stroking your left hands. His left hand was now holding your left hand while his right hnd was stroking your hair.

"Xuan, please wake up. I promise I will take care of you, I promise wouldn't neglected you anymore. Please...", he whispered, laying his head beside you.

"What happen?", Luhan let his stupidity asked them.

"The doctor said she lose too much blood because of the strong impact.", Amber said.

"It's you right?", Tao asked. Luhan was speechless. "It's you the culprit, right? You pushed her, right?", Tao asked him again. His tone was calm but a stern tune was heard too.

He opened his eyes, hoping that you'll awake from your sleep. But to his disappointed, you didn't. Your body was still lying on the bed, lifeless. You looked like a living dead. 

"Xuan... I love you..."
