"You slept with him again," I heard Shaira said over the phone in disbelief. "Oh for the love of, Margaret why would you do that?"

"I don't know okay? I just somehow woke up next to him, naked." I explained, horrified at my actions.

"And both of you are completely sober?" Shaira inquired with a knowing look.

"Yeah, is that bad?"

"You're asking if that's bad, girl it's horrible. Code red, I repeat, code red. The man is getting free sex with nothing to give back in return nonetheless you enjoy it just as much."

I did not reply. Come on what do you say to that? I enjoyed it tremendously and wish I could keep him by my side for the rest of our lives. I wish.

"You whore!" She exclaimed over the phone laughing causing me to laugh as well. Laughter really is contagious. "Well in that case, I guess you give as much as you receive or maybe you receive more that you give. Is he good?"

"Shaira!" Now it's my turn to exclaim at her vulgarity.

"Sorry, can't blame a girl for being curious. You're man is hot as sin after all."

"He's not my man." I said wrinkling my nose. "I feel like I'm some toy he only plays with when he gets bored or if he finds the time. He never comes home, and when he does he's always on the phone. The only time we interact is when we're fighting or...yeah."

Shaira comforted me over the phone and said her goodbye leaving me on my own. And yet again, I couldn't resist Cole's charming advances. If this goes on, I'll end up loathing myself.

My phone rang and I answered it right away. "Hello?"

"Hi Margaret, I hope I'm not disturbing you or anything." It's James, my father-in-law. By now he probably read the paper I faxed this morning.

"I'm not too busy, is it important?" I asked despite knowing how important this matter is to him. Yesterday I found out that Cole's company is on the brink of bankruptcy, a vital information James deliberately hid from my grandfather and I. If we had known that Noir Enterprise is unfit to make business with, I may not be married and heartbroken.

"Let's not play games Margaret, we both know why I phoned. You could only imagine how shock I was when I came to work this morning. What do you mean the deal is over?" James Noir's voice sounded calm but his tone spoke volumes. He is furious.

"Mr. Noir, we do not appreciate your lies. While I concede that you company is worth millions with the name and connections alone, I am not about to purchase an investment base on those merit without returns when I could very much make my own. What I am trying to say is, your financial status is not stable enough and who is to say you won't drag ours down."

"You will regret this." He simply said and ended the call. Well, at least that is done and dealt with, on to the next project; my marriage.

I dialled Harvey to check his progress. I found out that he is back in his office already working on things he needs to catch up on. I made my way to his workspace and was surprised to see the glasses back. At least his hair is still slicked back, but this new look make him look identical to my husband.

"Margaret, are you okay?" Harvey asked sounding concerned when I did not respond the first time he called me.

"Uh sorry, I just- its nothing. Do you have a minute? I need to ask you something." I said locking the door behind me.

"Sounds serious, what is it?" He pushed away from his computer and focused all his attention at me.

"Firstly I'd like to inform you about the cancelled merger with Noir Industry,"
