A whispered, "Hey", to get my attention,
"I was typing everything you said down"
"What?"... "You're a goose".
He laughs and tumbles onto the floor, silly.
"I don't want to say anything anymore because you're just going to type it down. Stop."
Talking in the kitchen, muffled voices. The radio playing.
"What was that playing on the radio?"
He sings a little diddy.
His da opens the door, "Dinner has arrived"
A small break for dinner time
Forks and knives and small chat. A spider on the wall, he attempts to capture it and it manages to hide slyly inside his hoodie... whereabouts still unknown...
Back in the sitting room."I'm 90% sure that spider is still in my hoodie".
Mother and son converse about snacks for the week.
Their voices melodic.
They try to remember his experience to discuss next week to get that civil service job.
During the summer he put county letters together in alphabetical order
It pertained to an important matter.
They're talking about the number of goats in the country!
He types obscene sentences onto my keyboard in a joking manner, trying to fool the audience into thinking inappropriate things are being said.
The sound of the classical guitar as he plays, "I can't help falling in love with you" singing along.
My favorite voice in the world.
Footsteps as he walks out of the room, doors slamming, his fingers clicking as he walks back into the room, only to walk out again.
Walking back in singing, he says, "Did you put in that bit about the spider?"
I wish I could remember all of these moments
But our brains are constantly redrafting our memories
Like in a Poem.
