I Saw Harry, But Did He See Me?

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. 

I roll over and check my alarm clock....6:45am. 

I turn my alarm off and force my self out of bed. I wrap my dressing gown around me and go into the bathroom. I brush my teeth, put on some make-up and put my hair into a high ponytail. 

I walk back into my room and put on my midwife uniform. I put my staff badge around my neck and put on my socks. 

Once i have finished getting ready i walk into Darcy's room. I turn on the light and pull the covers off her. 

"Darcy sweetie, wakey wakey, time to get up" I say softly while Darcy wakes up. 

I help Darcy out of bed and then get her dressed for school. I put her in some jeans and a pink top/jumper, i give her a hair bow and put her hair into pigtails. 

I hold onto her hand and we both walk down the stairs into the kitchen. 

Breakfast time. 

After breakfast i put on mine and Darcy's shoes and coat. 

"Ready for school?" I ask Darcy as she picks up her little backpack. 

"Yes" Darcy says with a smile on her face. 

I put Darcy into the car and i drive her to school. 

We arrive at school at 8:15 and i take Darcy to her classroom. 

"Here you go sweetie, have fun. Mummy love's you, have a good day ok" I say as i bend down and give her a cuddle. 

"Love you too mummy" Darcy replied in a soft sweet voice. 

I kiss Darcy's forehead before leaving her.

I finish work and head to the supermarket to do my normal weekly food shop before going to pick up Darcy from my mum. 

I arrive at the shop and get a trolley and head to bread section. 

I get halfway through my shop when another trolley bumps into mine. 

"Oh sorry" i say as i move my trolley out of the way. 

"Its okay" A familiar voice reply's. 

Wait a minute....i recognize that voice. It was a mans voice, it was soft and well, i can't describe it. I look up and a tall figure is looking straight at me. 

The person had his hood up, i couldn't see his face. 

"I recognize that voice" i say as i try to see his face. 

"Oh, sorry about that, i don't know you." The figure rushed off with his trolley. 

I carried on with my shopping and tried to forget about him.

I arrived at my mums house, parked the car and got out. 

I walked up the stone steps and knocked on the front door. 

My mum soon answered and invited me in. 

"Hi everyone" I say as i put my handbag down on the floor. 

"Mummy!" Darcy shouted as she came running to me and clutched onto my legs. 

"Hey sweetie" I said as i brushed my hands through her hair. 

"Do you want a cup of tea?" My mums partner, Mick, asked. 

"No thank you, i better go, i have shopping in the car" I replied still brushing my hands through Darcy's hair. 

"Did you get sweeties?" Darcy asked excitedly. 

"Maybe, you will have to see" I replied, "Say goodbye to nanny and Mick" I added. 

"Bye bye Nanny, bye Mick" Darcy said as she gave them both a hug. 

I strapped Darcy into her car seat and drove off home.

Me and Darcy had just finished dinner and we both went into the living room to watch some telly. 

"Darcy can mummy watch the news before you watch Cinderella?" I asked as i turned on the telly. 

"Okay" She replied while playing with her baby doll. 

I turn the channel onto the news. 

"Harry Styles spotted doing his food shop today, see image one,two and three" A news reporter said as he showed the pictures of Harry shopping. 

WAIT....WHAT!! 

The tall figure i saw today looked exactly like that. The tall guy had a big over-sized grey jumper with his hood up with black skinny jeans. Harry was wearing the exact same clothes in the pictures. 

Was it Harry i saw? Why didn't he say it was him? Oh my gosh!

I could feel my heart racing, it felt like it was going to come out of my chest any second. 

"Daddy" Darcy shouts as she points to the pictures of Harry.

I quickly turn the telly off. 

"Mummy, what about Cinderella?" Darcy asked in a sad voice. 

"Sorry sweetie, its getting late, why don't i read you a book in bed?" I said as i picked her up off the floor. 

"Okay" She said as she rested her head on my shoulder. 

I held her close as we walked up the stairs and into her room.

I turned on her fairy lights and turn her big main light off. 

Darcy got into her pjs and into bed. 

I read her the Cinderella story book.

I finished reading Darcy her book and she fell asleep. I tucked her in and kissed her goodnight. 

I closed her bedroom door and walked into my room. 

I can't believe i saw Harry today, well, i think it was him. Why didn't he say anything? he just left. Just as i was getting over him, he comes back. What will i do? How will i get over him? 

I got into my Pjs and got into bed. I set my alarm and rolled over onto my side. 

I snuggled up into my covers and soon fell asleep. 

I can't believe I saw Harry, but did he see me?
