Chapter 5: Embarrassed

Areum's Pov

We decided to watch a horror movie. At the middle of the movie, I become scared. When the ghost appear at the screen, I scream and hug the nearest person beside me, and I thought that it was Taehyung. I opened my eyes and I look at the person, it's not him, it's his cousin Baekhyun. I look at Taehyung and he's just looking at us, not only him, but everyone. This is so embarrassing. I really don't want to watch a horror movie, but they like to watch a horror movie and I'm just the only one who doesn't want to watch, so I have no choice but to agree. I don't want them to think that I'm a kill joy.

BH: Are you alright?

Me: Y-yes... I just become scared when the ghost appeared.

BH: Are you sure? If you're scared, we can change it.

Me: N-no it's alright. I'm sorry for hugging you.

BH: It's alright.

They continue to watch the movie while I'm looking at my phone, playing some games. I can't look at them because it's embarrassing. I wish that Taehyung didn't get jealous. I really hate myself from doing that. I'm just the only one who scream and the worst is, I accidentally hug Baekhyun. It's okay if it's Taehyung.

I tried to avoid Baekhyun as much as possible because of what happened.

Taehyung's Pov

I just look at Areum while she's hugging Baekhyun hyung. I'm jealous but I don't want them to see that I am, so I tried my best to hide it.

We decided to continue watching the movie because Areum said that it's okay, we don't need to change it. In fact, I didn't enjoy the movie after what happened. I look at Areum and she's playing on her phone. I became quiet after that.

After watching the movie, we decided to go home. While driving, it's so quiet between me and Areum. Until Areum said

Her: Sorry...

Me: For what?

Her: For being scared and because of that I accidentally hugged Baekhyun instead of you.

Me: It's alright, I understand.

Her: You're not jealous?

Me: Why would I? Is there something that I need to be jealous about?

Her: Nothing, I'm just asking. But still, I'm sorry.

I just nod, of course I'll accept her apology, I know that it's just an accident and I also notice that she avoid Baekhyun after that. But still I lied because I became jealous a while ago, but it's okay now. I forgive her. I also agreed about their suggestion to watch a horror movie.

We arrive home. We rest for a while and I took a quick shower while Areum is preparing a food. I went downstairs and we eat together. While eating I ask her a questions.

Me: So how's my cousins?

Her: They're friendly, especially Baekhyun, he's a joker too.

Me: Yes he is. He likes to joke around.

Her: I notice it too. But he's fun to talk when he's serious.

Me: Yes. Did you enjoy this day.

Her: Yes of course. The only thing that I hate is-

Me: When you become scared and you accidentally hug Baekhyun hyung?

Her: Yes...

Me: Don't worry it's alright.

We finished eating and we clean the dishes. I sat on our bed while Areum is taking a shower. After that we sleep together.

Baekhyun's Pov

We're watching a horror movie when Areum screamed and suddenly hug me. I was shocked at her reaction. I ask her if she's alright and if she wants to change the movie, but she said that she's alright and we don't need to change the movie.

We continue watching the movie while Areum is playing with her phone. I notice that she distant herself away from me. I also notice that Taehyung is looking at her. I just wish that he didn't get jealous.

After watching the movie, Taehyung and Areum went home, while my friends stay here in a while.

CY: Is it just me? But I think there's something wrong with Taehyung after what happened?

Chen: Yes, I notice it too. How about you Baek?

Me: Yes, he became quiet after that. Maybe he's jealous?

Lay: Maybe.

Me: Let's just forget about that. By the way, next week I'll start to help Taehyung in their company. I heard that they're hiring a new employee.

CY: I want too.

Me: Okay, I'll tell Taehyung about it.

After that they also leave leaving me and Baekbeom hyung alone.

I think I need to find a job. I want to help my cousin and it'll be fun if they're my co-worker or my boss. I'm looking forward about it.
