Chapter 10: She's Mine

A/N: I apologize for a very late update. I tried my best to update now because it's been a month since I wrote the last chapter. And next week is our midterm exam so I can't update next week. I'm very sorry for this late update. Thanks for reading, and supporting this story.

Taehyung's Pov

I help Ye-Joon's family, and I also noticed that he work very hard after I gave him a chance to work in our company again. To be honest, when Areum is around, I secretly watching his moves, the way he talk to her, the way he smile with her etc. And I notice that he really tried his best to forget his feelings with her. And I'm glad that he didn't broke his promise. Once he broke it, I wouldn't give him another chance. But my other problem is our work. I notice that we'll becoming very busy in our work that me and Areum didn't have time with each other. I hate the fact that we didn't even have a time to have fun like the way we used to have before. 

Today I'm planning to spend more time with her, I finished my works yesterday. To be honest, I don't have any sleep. But I don't care as long as I can spend my time with Areum. I'll sleep after spending my time with her. 

I walk around the house to find her. It's Saturday morning, and the time is 7 am. I saw her in the garden, she's sitting on the grass while looking at the flowers. I smiled while looking at her. I sat beside her. 

Me: It's beautiful isn't it? 

Her: Yes, and I love it, the way you can relax after the stressful work.

Me: Yes, work is very tiring. I wish that we can spend more time together. Like the way we used to hang out before. 

Her: How about we do it again? Do you have something to do today? You didn't sleep right? Sleep, you need it, I know that you're very tired too.

Me: I don't want to sleep. 

Her: Why? You need some rest.

Me: I want to spend more time with you. Because we're always busy, we barely hang out with each other. And don't worry, after spending some time with you, I'll rest arasso? 

She smiled and nod. I gave her a smile too. 

Me: Let's do what we usually do before. Shopping? 

Her: Yes! I really miss shopping, then going to the amusement park, and before the sun goes down, we'll watch it on the beach. 

We eat our breakfast first then take a shower and I wear a casual clothes. I wait for Areum, and after that we went to the mall first. I miss it. I miss the time when we can spend some time together, but now we can't because of our business. But no matter how busy we are, I'll always find some time just to spend it with her. 

We're already here at the mall. We went to the shoe store, then to the dress shop. She really loves shopping, I just smile while looking at her. She can't decide what to buy between the two shoes, so she decided to buy both. After that, she decided to buy a bags, and some casual clothes. I also bought a casual clothes for myself. 

After that, we eat lunch together, the we decided to go to the amusement park. We watch the kids enjoying some rides. I can't help but to smile. Kids are adorable. We'll have it too, soon.

We decided to ride the ferris wheel, roller coaster, bump car, etc. We don't care about what other people would think about us. All we want is to have some fun. Life is too short to be so busy with work, learn to have some fun sometimes. 

After that, it's already 5:10 pm. We went to the beach and sat on the sand to watch the sunset. 

Areum's Pov

We're sitting here near the beach to watch the sunset when Taehyung suddenly ask

Him: Would you leave me if someone loves you better than I love you? 

I was shock but at the same time confuse with his question.

Me: What? Of course not. I only love you, and only you, no one else. Why do you ask that, is something wrong? 

Him: Nothing, I'm just asking, and I just want to be sure that when someone tries to get you away from me, they can't because as what you said, you only love me, and I only love you too. 

I smiled because it sounds cheesy but I love it. But, I know there's something wrong. I can see it in his eyes. There's something bothering him, and I need to know it. 

Me: I know there's something wrong. Please tell me, what's bothering you? 

Him: Because... there's someone loves you too. And I'm afraid that you'll leave me because of him.

Me: What?! Who? 

Him: It's... Ye-Joon. That's the reason why he didn't go to work for week to work. I fired him, because I'm afraid. I'm afraid that he'll get you, and you two were close. I'm afraid that you'll choose him over you. And yes...... I'm jealous. 

Me: But that will never happen. I only love you. And he's just a good friend to me. Yes, he's handsome, kind and yes, we're friends, but it doesn't mean that I love him in a romantic way. And why he's still working in our company, you fired him right? 

Him: It's because I want to help him, and his family. 

Me: What about his family? 

Him: He came from a poor family, and his father is sick. I felt so bad for what I did, I'm so selfish if I did that. 

Me: You did the right thing. And don't worry, no one else can have me because I'm yours. Don't worry, he's just a friend to me. I will NEVER leave you. I promise. 

I smiled and hug her while watching the sunset. I felt so special, especially she said that she's mine. I'll never let her go. Yes, I'm selfish, it's because I really really love her. And I'll make sure that she's mine. Only mine.
