Chapter 15: Supportive Cousin

Baekhyun's Pov

After they leave, I went home. I need to keep my promise to Taehyung. I know that his parents will ask me if I know where is he. But as I promised, I won't tell them where and why did Taehyung leave. I understand his reasons. It's hard to do something that you really don't want to do. And I know that Taehyung's priority is his wife, and also their baby. 

When we were young, I ask Taehyung about his dream in the future. 

Flashback

Me: In the future, what do you want to be? Do you have any plan for the future?

Him: I want to live happily, doing the things that I like. And I also want to have a happy family, and I don't want to be so busy on work. It's okay if I like the job, but my first priority is my wife or my future family. How about you hyung? Any plan? 

Me: I want to build my own company. Or work for our company. 

End of flashback

I knew from the start that Taehyung doesn't like to be the heir of the company, but he needs to. At least he tried his best to like it, but I know that Taehyung doesn't like this kind of job. And it seems like, his parents always force him to do something. First, the arrange marriage, and now to be the heir of the company. I understand that he thinks that they're controlling him. I can't blame him, because if I were the one in his position, I would think that too.

As I'm busy thinking about Taehyung, my phone suddenly ring. It's Taehyung's father. I answered the call. 

Him: Hello, Baekhyun. Have you seen your cousin, Taehyung? Is he there, or did he went home to see his wife? 

Me: I don't see him, and I also went to their house to give the documents to Areum a while ago, and Taehyung isn't there. 

Him: Thank you, we're looking for him because he's missing. He's nowhere to be found.

Me: What?! Since when? 

Him: The last time I saw him is yesterday. But now, we don't know where he is, and also no one knows where did he go. 

Me: Okay, I'll call you immediately if I saw him. 

Him: Okay, thank you.

Then he ended the call. I felt bad for my uncle, but if I told them where Taehyung is, I'm sure that Taehyung will get angry at me. And I also don't want my cousin to do the things that he doesn't like. He has the rights to choose the job that he likes, do the things that he loves to do. And I don't want to break my promise. I need to inform him about what's happening. So that he's aware, and he can hide if he needs to. 

I can't sleep, I'm thinking about what would happen to Taehyung. They can hide and maybe they can't find them, but for how long? For how long did he needs to hide from them? I don't know what to do now, but it's not my business anymore. I need to keep what I've promised. 

After 2 days 

Taehyung's parents decided to sent so many people to find him. They also knew that he took Areum with him, because it's obvious. But they still doesn't have any idea where did they go. I also volunteer to do Taehyung's work, since he's not there. 

Today, I'm here in my room. I decided to call Taehyung to inform him that his parents, and also Areum's parents were looking for them everywhere. I also told him that they sent someone to find them. He said that they'll be very careful and alert, so that they can't find them. He also thank me for informing them about their parent's plan. 

After talking to him, I decided to do some work. It's tiring, but it's okay. At least I like what I'm doing. I wish that everything will be alright, that Taehyung and Areum didn't have to hide, I just want them to be happy, that's why I'm supporting their decisions. I wish that they made the right choice, and I wish that they wouldn't regret it soon. 

Taehyung's Pov

I'm sitting here at the couch while watching a movie with Areum. When I receive a call from Baekhyun hyung. I answered it, he said that our parents were looking for us everywhere, and they also sent someone to find us. I told him not to worry, because we'll be very careful and alert. I also thank him for informing us about our parent's plan. 

I told Areum about it. 

Areum: What should we do? 

Me: We need to be careful and alert. We need to avoid being caught. 

Areum: Yes, and if they found us, I'm sure that they'll be very angry and they will punish us for breaking the rules, which isn't good. 

Me: Yes, I'm sure that they'll punish us. 

Areum: I'm scared.

Me: Don't be, I'm here with you. Nothing bad will happen. 

I kiss her forehead and we decided to continue what we're watching.

Baekhyun's Pov

Taehyung's parents told me that they'll send someone to find them in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines and many more. They also plan to punish them once they found them for breaking the rules, which isn't a good idea. 

After talking to his parents, I decided to call him again.

Him: Hello, Baekhyun hyung. What's up? 

Me: Your parents told me that they'll send someone to find you both there in Thailand. You need to be very careful. Don't stroll around too much. They also said that they'll punish you for breaking the rules.

Him: Thanks for the information hyung. I need to be very careful. And you're right, I know that they won't stop until they found us. Thanks hyung for your information, it helps us a lot. 

Me: It's alright, I'm just supporting you and your plan, it's your life after all, you have the rights to do the things that you love to do. 

Him: Yes, it feels like we don't have the rights to do whatever we want. We felt like, we're a robot. 

Me: Yes, I understand. But be sure that they can't find you. I'll update more information soon, if they have a new plan.

Him: Thank you hyung. It helps a lot. Don't worry, once they found us, we won't tell them that you're involve in our plan.

Me: It's okay if you will tell them. I already know what to say if that happen. 

Him: You're ready aren't you? 

I chuckle and I said "As always. By the way, I need to finish my work now, I'll call you soon." 

Him: Okay, bye hyung.

After that I hang up, and I continue to do my work. But I can't focus because of the thoughts that they will find Taehyung and Areum soon. Why do I have this bad feeling that they'll find them? I need to fight the bad feeling, and I need to trust Taehyung. He's old enough, he can handle it. But sometimes, he acts like a child, just like me. But I know that he'll be more serious and matured when it comes in the situation like these. And I can see that he'll do everything for his dreams and also for the ones he really love. And I don't want to ruin his plan and his dreams. No matter what, I'll keep what I've promise to him. I'll support him and also his dreams.
