Chapter 19: Our Dreams

After a month

Areum's Pov

We went back to Seoul and it seems that they didn't break their promise. And I'm glad that they support our dreams and decision. I'm also thankful that Baekhyun oppa help us. It all happened because of him. 

Today, I'm giving birth to our first child. I'm already here at the hospital. I'm a little bit nervous yet excited. I can't wait to see our first baby.

Taehyung's Pov

I'm here at the hospital waiting nervously yet excited to see our first baby. I'm nervous but I know Areum can make it, she's a strong girl after all. 

After an hour, the doctor said that I can see Areum and our baby now. I smiled and went inside to see Areum and our baby. When I saw our baby, I smile widely. Areum is sleeping and I just let her, she's tired after giving birth. I hold our baby, he's so cute. 

I'm waiting for Areum to wake up, I'm sure that she'll be happy when she see our baby. I sat beside the bed still carrying our baby. I smile while looking at them. I'm thankful that I have them in my life. When Areum wake up, I smile and she gave me a smile, I showed her our baby causing her to smile widely. She sat up and I carefully handed her our baby. 

Me: I'm thankful that I have both of you in my life. 

She smiled and said "I'm also thankful that we have you, and also I'm glad that our parents finally support our dreams and also our decisions. And of course, we're thankful that Baekhyun oppa help us during our hardship."

Me: Yes, Baekhyun hyung help us a lot. If he didn't help us, maybe we're still there hiding. But, let's forget about it, at least we're happy now.

She just smiled and nod. 

Me: By the way, his name is? We didn't name him yet. 

Her: How about... Daehyun? What do you think?

Me: Sounds good. 

We smiled while looking at Daehyun. He's so cute. 

Her: He looks like you. It just like a baby version you.

I smiled and hug them. It's one of my happiest and memorable day. 

After 2 days

It's already 8:30 am, we went home from the hospital. We put Daehyun in crib while Areum sleep for a while. While they're sleeping, I quietly took some pictures of them. After that I sleep beside Areum. Later our friends will come to visit to see Daehyun. Areum's parents and also my parents already saw Daehyun, and they're happy when they saw him. 

I woke up, it's already 1 pm. I look beside me and Areum isn't there anymore. I look at the crib to see Daehyun, he's not there too. I went downstairs and I saw Areum holding Daehyun, waiting for our friends to arrive. I smile and back hug her. 

Me: Come on, let's eat for a while. 

Her: Let's wait for them, so that we'll eat our lunch all together.

Me: It's already 1:10 pm, and I think they'll eat lunch first before they visit here. 

She nod and before we went to the dining room to eat some lunch, we saw a car park in front of our house. It's Baekhyun hyung. The guard opened the door and we let Baekhyun hyung inside. He's holding 5 boxes of pizza and a cake. He handed us the pizza and cake. We thanked him. 

Baekhyun: I'm sorry for not visiting you yesterday, I'm a little bit busy with work. 

Me: No, it's alright, we understand.

He smiled, and when he saw Areum holding Daehyun, he smile widely and said "He's so cute! What's his name?" 

Areum: His name is Daehyun. 

Baekhyun hyung smiled and said "He looks like us Tae." That cause Areum to chuckle. I just smile

Areum: Yes he is. 

After that the others arrive as well. We let them in and they all look at Daehyun. Jin hyung is holding Daehyun while we're eating, and the others are talking quietly, not wanting to wake Daehyun up. I remember yesterday, when we are talking loudly, that cause him to wake up and he cry loudly. 

After a while Areum decided to went upstairs to our room to get feed Daehyun and also to put him in crib to sleep. It's already 5 in the afternoon, we decided to watch some movies while eating pizza. Later on, Areum joined us watching a movie. I guess she made Daehyun sleep. 

After watching some movies, they decided to leave so that we can rest for a while. It's already 8:30 pm. Areum went to our room to look if Daehyun is still sleeping, while I took a shower.

When I'm done, I went downstairs to eat dinner, Areum also did the same. After eating we went to our room. Areum took a shower while I'm looking at Daehyun. I can't help but to smile every time I'm looking at him. When Areum is done, we decided to talk quietly. 

Me: Areum-ah, have you ever think about our future. Not only you and me, but it's about Daehyun and our soon to be child/children. 

Areum: Of course, there's a time that I'm thinking about that. And how about you, your career? 

Me: Maybe I'm joining a band along with my friends or earn some money by writing a song. How about you?

Areum: I'm planning to work in a cafe or maybe own a cafe one day.

Me: I heard that Chanyeol hyung's family has a cafe. Maybe you should ask him or Baekhyun hyung about that. 

Areum: I will. 

Me: Areum-ah... do you still remember the first time that we've met back when we were young?

Areum: Yes, why? 

Me: Nothing, I just can't believe that, that young girl were going to be my wife. 

She blush and she said "Me too. I never thought about it too." 

Me: It feels like it's just yesterday. And now, we have our own child. Soon he'll grew up too, and let's support his dreams, unlike what our parents did.

Areum: Of course we would, and hey are you still mad at them?

Me: No, I'm just saying the truth. 

She just nod. And she said "It feels like we're starting to achieve our dreams."

Me: Yes, I can feel it too. Let's achieve our dreams together.

She smiled and with that we sleep. I know later at the middle of the night when Daehyun is hungry, he'll cry so loud and we need to wake up, but it's alright, because we love him, and he's a part of our dreams.
