* Jet black heart - 5SOS *
In the morning I woke up without any harm. Once memory of last night flooded my mind, I quickly pushed it away, determined to not think about it. If I've gone mad, then probably badly and I'm definitely not going to feed my imagination, making it worse for myself.
I was being coward, but right now I didn't care in a slightest. I've never wished for this to happen. Talking with ghosts wasn't on my bucket list of life goals, and I was still considering the possibility, that I bumped my head and what happened yesterday was just an hallucination. To hell with it. I quickly got dressed and went down to have a breakfast. Ellen walked me out with smile on her face. On my way to school I left my thoughts about the house behind, being aware of the fact I will have to come back and collect them eventually.
Ah, little bit of normal stuff in my life is needed. I met Liz in front of the school, so we continued inside together.
"So, are you getting used to the new place? It must be weird to be here instead of the place you know so well. Leaving all your friends behind. I'd go crazy If I had to move and not see Chris ever again...," she stopped talking when she realized, she revealed more than she wanted. I was pretending I didn't hear anything. It was obvious, what kind of feelings she grew towards Christopher.
"It was hard, but there was no other way for me. I was hoping to find new friends here," I smiled at her innocently.
"I'm sure you will," she winked at me. In front of the classroom we found waiting Chris and our trio was complete. Finally, I felt relaxed, sighing loudly, but then I remembered again, seeing his face before my eyes. Oh damn. What if I'm possessed?
"Chels... Chels, hello!" that was Chris talking to me. I had no idea what he just said though.
"I'm sorry. I didn't sleep well last night," I came up first excuse that appeared in my mind. Even though it was quite the opposite. I slept like someone killed me, almost like someone was watching over me, I wasn't feeling threatened, even after that supernatural experience and I fell asleep very quickly.
Then I suddenly remembered the dream I had, it slipped her mind, because it was about the freaking ghost, who wasn't a ghost at all in my dream. He was flash and bone. I was so done being friends with my imagination.
"Oh, really! It's the house, I'm telling you. I wouldn't be staying there, even If I was being payed for it," Liz gasped. It wasn't the right deduction though. The house wasn't the problem. It was the tenant, which I was blessed to be able to see.
"It's not that bad. You just have to get used to the floor creaking, you can hear noises from the kitchen at midnight, while you know that everyone is sleeping...," I wanted to continue with the list of paranormal activities in my house, because the terror in Liz's eyes was too funny. However, Chris took over.
"The lights go on and off on its own and the TV changes the channels without you touching the remote control. And then... boom!" Chris exclaimed, while me and Liz jumped up.
"And then what, the house collapses or what?" Liz laughed mockingly, not scared anymore.
"Hahahaha," Chris grumbled, "No, then you meet a ghost and he will want to eat your brain," he finished at last. The smile on my face froze at the exact moment. How right Chris' words were... Except the ghost didn't ask for anything... yet...
"Aren't you muddling this up with zombies, Chris?" Liz kept on teasing him, while Chris was ignoring her on purpose.
"You, Chelsea, you should have seen your face now," Chris was now having hard time to breath while laughing hard as he pointed on my face. It was obvious that my thoughts mirrored in my expression.
