Daniel
I'm sitting in the car waiting for Collin to come out. I can't believe that we almost blew our cover last Saturday night. I will have to talk to him. I've been waiting for a good time, but Emily has been on constant watch and never letting one of us out of her sight.
I hated lying to Emily but I had to and I also promised Collin. I just want him to feel as though he can come to me if he has a problem. I know I'm not the best but I'm a guy and I can help sometimes more than Emily. Oh and I have money, and money can buy anything.
"Sorry, Emmie wouldn't stop watching me like a hawk. She's been acting weird all week." Collin said as he got into the drivers seat.
He started the car and we took a practice drive before I drove us down to the DMV so he could take his test.
We were coming up to a park, this would be the perfect to place to talk. "Collin pull into here and park the car." I say as I realize that I'm about to pull a father moment on him.
"What is it? Am I driving bad? Do you think I'm not ready for the test? Danny, please don't yell at me!" He asked me and I knew I shouldn't talk to him now and wait till after he takes his test but, it's now or never.
"No, I'm not going to yell at you and your driving is great. Collin, it's about what's been going on." I said and he caught on real quick.
"Look, Emmie doesn't know and she won't if you keep your mouth shut and stand your ground." He said with a serious tone. This was one side I've never really seen of him, guess keeping this secret was important.
"Collin, I hate lying to your sister and she's been trying to figure out what we really did last Saturday. She's not buying our story anymore. She knows us too well and can smell that there's something fishy going on."
"How? Did you hint anything to her when you went up to the bedroom?"
"No, actually it's you that almost ruined it and is why she's suspicious." I said and his facial expression went straight to confusion.
"What do you mean it's me?"
"You wanted to go to bed at eight o'clock at night! You looked too clean and had your hair fixed to have done nothing but hang out with me. You smelt like you walked out a perfume store and you were too quiet at the table! She even asked me if there was something wrong with you, and I had to lie to her again and I hate lying to her, Collin."
"Okay, I'm sorry it's just I was excited and wanted you two to go to bed so I could sneak out. Plus it seemed like you two had a good night because Sunday she was all smiles."
Oh if he only knew how good of a night we had. I have to say thanks to him for sneaking out because I got to have my way with her and didn't have to hold back. It was a magical night and one that I wish would happen again soon.
"Yeah, well that was because she had a magical night thanks to me and you not being in the house." I tell him wiggling my eyebrows.
"Ew! Stop I don't want to hear this!"
He yelled out and covered his ears."Collin, you're going to have to grow up and realize that people do this. You do know it's natural for two people to conduct that type of activity?"
I do know that Emily sheltered him and it's not uncommon for kids to be nervous or grossed out to hear about this type of talk especially when they aren't fully aware of it or participate in it.
