Chapter 2.
William had just finished up work and went into hair and makeup to get cleaned up before he drove himself and Angela home. He yawned as soon as he got in there.
"You sound tired." He heard someone laugh.
He looked over to see Bradley getting his makeup off.
"I'm not used to these long days anymore. When I hurt my knee, I got to sleep in." William grumbled before he sat down.
"You miss having a knee injury?" Bradley questioned sarcastically.
"No I miss-." He started before getting cut off by a yawn. "Sleeping in."
"Are you even gonna be able to drive home?" Bradley asked.
"Yeah. Angela will keep me awake and I'll grab some coffee before I leave. Just enough to stay awake." William explained.
"Ok. Be careful man." Bradley said as he and William got up.
"I will be." He said before leaving.
After grabbing his cup, William and Angela left the building and got in the car. William started driving and he yawned again.
"Gosh I'm tired." He muttered as he got a sip of coffee.
"Sorry baby." Angela said as she rubbed his shoulder before turning on the radio.
It started playing Night changes by One direction and Angela looked at William.
"Do you know what my favorite lyrics in this song are?" She asked.
"Which ones?" He asked, not really caring.
"Even when the night changes, it'll never change me and you. I think that is a lot like us." She explained.
"That's definitely true babe." William said as he started remembering the dates of theirs that didn't go so well.
"Yep. Here is my stop." Angela said.
William slowed down and pulled in front of the two story blue house.

"Hey, wanna get a quick picture?" Angela asked.
"Sure." William said as he dug his phone out of his pocket and snapped a picture.

"See you tomorrow." She laughed at the picture as she kissed his cheek.
"Night baby." He laughed as he went back to his car.
As he started driving home, he went onto the highway and yawned again. He chugged the rest of his coffee, but when he put the cup down, he saw a truck coming straight towards him. Starting to panic, he honked the horn several times. The car still didn't stop. He was about to jerk the wheel when it was to late. The truck slammed into William's. The car turned over several times into a ditch. Then he saw the glass in the front shatter and cut him before his vision started getting spotty, then it fully turned black. Meanwhile, Karly, Erin and Eric were watching a movie, waiting for William to get home so he could tell them about how work went, when Karly got a phone call.
"Hello?" She asked as she went into the kitchen.
"Ma'am, this is the head of the LA police, you need to get to Hollywood north hospital now." He explained.
"What did I do?" She asked.
"You didn't do anything ma'am. Your son William however has gotten into a wreck. He is unresponsive and in a bad condition. The paramedics are getting him out of the car and then they will rush him to the hospital, and we traced his identification to you." The police officer explained.
"I will be right over. Thank you sir." Karly said before hanging up.
"What's wrong mom?" Erin asked.
"We have to get to the hospital. Your brother was in a wreck." Karly explained as she grabbed her car keys.
Erin and Eric ran to the car and got in. Then Erin quickly called Angela and Kelli, with responses of "ok we are coming". When they arrived, the ambulance just got there and was pulling the stretcher with William on it inside. Karly, Erin and Eric quickly followed the stretcher and went into the waiting room. Karly pit her arm around Eric and held him close to her body for protection. Then Angela, Kelli and Paris ran in.
"Where is he?" Kelli asked as all three sat down.
"He is in surgery." Karly said.
"No offense Paris, but how did you find out about Billy?" Erin asked.
"Kelli texted me." Paris answered.
"Is he gonna be alright?" Angela asked.
"I don't know. The police officer who called me explained that the paramedics found out he was unresponsive and that he was in bad shape." Karly explained while Eric snuggled up to her like a little kid.
About 3 hours later, the doctor came out, making everyone stand up.
"How is my son?" Karly asked.
"First off, let me introduce myself. I'm Dr. Jackson, and will be the head of your son's treatment. To answer your question, he sustained many injuries. We were really concerned about two things. The first one was that when the windshield shattered, a larger piece of glass cut him very close to his heart. Luckily we got that stitched and patched up. The other was how much trauma his body had because the car turned over several times before landing upside down in a ditch." Dr. Jackson explained.
"When can we see him?" Erin asked.
"Tomorrow. He is unresponsive still and in critical condition." Dr. Jackson said.
"When will he wake up?" Kelli asked.
"That's just it, Ms. Berglund. He is in a coma." Dr. Jackson said quietly.
Everyone's face turned to shock except Eric, who suddenly lost it and started crying on Karly. Karly hugged her son tightly.
"I'm sorry." Dr. Jackson said before leaving the patient's loved ones.
I hope you guys all like this chapter, I worked really hard on it.
