Chapter Three

=Alesix's POV=

"Ally! Are you done yet? We're leaving soon." my father called out.

"Hang on!" I shouted, trying to find my favourite hoodie.

I finally found it and put it on. I slid down the banister and saw my father and mother standing there.

"Alexis! What did I tell you about sliding down the banister?" my mother reprimanded.

"You will get -" She was cut off my me.

"Hurt. I know, I know, Mother. Take a chill pill." I replied, a little annoyed.

"Okay, let's hurry up. Your uncle Teddy is waiting for us at Flourish and Blotts." my father said, clearly frustrated with my tardiness.

I nodded and grabbed a hand full of floo powder and stepped into the fireplace.

"Diagon Alley!" I shouted, clearly and threw the powder onto the floor and I felt myself being pulled through space. My feet leaving the ground and after a few seconds, landed on firm ground again, and I exited the fireplace I had landed in.

I waited, and my parents both arrived soon.

"C'mon, Ally. We're late already." mother said, urging me .

I opened the door and saw the familiar street of Diagon Alley, wizards and witches walking around, buying what they need. Young wizard and witches accompanied by parents buying what they needed for school.

I made my way to the book store with my parents hot on my heels.

"Uncle Teddy!" I shouted as I saw red hair, knowing that he was angry at us for being late."Sorry. My fault. I was trying to find this." Tugging at the hoodie I had on.

Once he saw that it was the hoodie he bought me, his hair changed to yellow. Happy.

"Hey there, kiddo. Remus and Dora are just inside, they're waiting for you. We, adults, will be getting you guys something." He said, ruffling my hair.

Upon hearing my cousins names, I ran into the bookstore and saw blue hair and yellow hair. I sighed as I saw that Remus was confused. Well, he is always confused.

"Heya, Lupin." Calling them by their surname.

Remus and Dora are twins. Remus's hair is originally brown, just like Teddy's while Dora's is blonde, she is part Veela though.Inherited from Aunt Victoire.

"HI ALEXIS!" Dora shouted.

"Hi there cousin." Remus exclaimed.

"You guys going to Hogwarts?" I asked.

They both nodded.

"I got a letter from Beauxbatons, but I rejected them. So, I'm here." Dora explained.

"Oh, okay. I'm going to Beauxbatons." I told them, knowing that they will not be happy. Their face fell when they heard the news.

"Why?" they asked in unison.

" Well, the pros were more then the cons." I explained.

They nodded and we searched for our books. After finding all my books except the Potions book, I felt as if someone was watching me. I turned and saw a pair of grey eyes, staring at me. I waved at the boy to get him to snap out of it. When he realised that I found him staring at me, he immediately looked away, embarrassed. I shrugged and continued to look for my Potion book. Just then a book came wheezing my way, and landed in my hands. My Potion book. There it was, laying in my hands. I turned to see who had magic the book my way but saw no one.

I got out my money and paid for my lot of books, and waited for Remus and Dora to pay for theirs but they were still searching for one of their books.

"What you guys finding?" I asked them.

"Potions." Dora replied.

Their hair started turning orange, frustration.

"I got mine. I'll wait." I told them.

Just then a booming voice made an announcement.

"All Year One Potion Books are out of stock." The voice said.

One by one, people paid for their books and we left Flourish and Blotts and went to Olivander's to get our wand.

"Hi, Olivander." I greeted.

"Hello there Alexis.Here to get your wand I see." Olivander said.

I nodded and he went off looking for the wand that would suit me.

He came back with a wand.

"11 inches, slightly flexible, cherry wood and pheonix tail. Last feather of Dumbledore's pheonix, Faux. " he told me, opening the case for me to try.

I took it and gave it a wave and I saw swirls of gold surround me.

"That is your wand. Same pheonix as your grandfather's my dear." jI paid for it then heard a tap on the window.

I turned and saw my parents with Uncle Teddy, all of them holding a cage with an owl in it.

I rushed out to get my owl and saw that mine was the snow white owl that father was holding. Dora got the grey owl that mother was holding while Remus got the brown owl, that looked extremely dazed that Uncle Teddy was holding.

"You guys got your wands?" my father asked. We all nodded and we were on our way home.

"So, Al. What are you going to name your owl? It's a girl." my father asked on the way to the fireplace that we were allowed to use to get home.

"i'll name it Taylor. You like that??I said.

The owl hooted, and I took it as a yes.

I got into the fireplace clutching Taylor's cage and shouted" James Potter II residence" and I soon was home.
