>Dracious' POV<
The tallest tower was visible as we chugged into Hogsmeade. A place where I was anxious to go this year. Yes. First Years can go to Hogsmeade now. As the train finally stopped, the gatekeeper hollered for First Years to follow him.
"Hello, Rubeus." Dora greeted in her cheery voice.
"Heya Dora. Remus." Rubeus replied in his loud, beefy voice.
Remus, Ron, Dora and I climbed into the boat crossing the lake to Hogwarts, chatting away about Hogsmeade, Weasley Wizard Weazes and of course, the Triwizard Tournament.
"Do you think Ally is at Beauxbatons yet? I want to send her an owl." Dora asked Remus, who was sitting next to her.
Remus was in his own worlds...AGAIN! Completely oblivious to his surroundings. Dora smacked the upside of his head and asked again. Meanwhile, my mind drifted towards the red-haired girl who I saw at Flourish and Blotts with her hoodie hanging off her shoulder. A hand waved in front of my face, successfully snapping me out of my reverie.
"Don't be another Remus." Dora complained as Remus shot her a glare.
I gave her an apologetic smile as the boat bumped on to the shore.
"C'mon yeh First Years." Rubeus shouted as he walked towards the castle.
We scrambled out of the boats and scurried off to follow Rubeus.
"How do you know Rubeus?" I asked Dora, since Remus had a dazed look.
"Hagrid always visits Granduncle Harry, and we are always at his house since Dad always needs to talk to him, so yea. " she said, waving her hand nonchalantly.
Then we lapsed into a comfortable silence.
"Weren't you the guy in Flourish and Blotts? The one who was staring at Ally?" Remus suddenly asked.
"Who is Ally?" I asked confused.
"Red-haired girl .Wearing her signature grey hoodie, hanging off her shoulder." Remus said, eyeing me suspiciously.
"Oh, her. Yea. Why?" I questioned.
"Now. Why were you staring at her?" Dora asked protectively.
I blushed, not wanting to say any further.
"C'mon, yeh whole lot. We've arrived. " Rubeus said, making us jump.
"You like her don't cha?" Dora whispered-asked into my ear.
I nodded, my face turning a deeper shade of red.
She chuckled.
"Welcome to Hogwarts, First Years. I am Proffesor Longbottom--- " He was interrupted.
"TRAVIS!" Ron shouted, and dived for the rat scurrying on the floor.
"RON! GET BACK IN LINE!" Proffesor Longbottom reprimanded, his voice echoeing aroung the Entrance Hall,
"Sorry, grandpa." Ron whimpered.
Proffesor Longbottom sighed and continued " I am the Deputy Headmaster and the Head of Gryffindor house. Please come to see me if there are any problems. Now. Follow me. The feast is about to begin"
He turned and we followed as he pushed open the door into the Great Hall.
