Chapter Five

Alexis's POV

=September the First=

"ALEXIS POTTER! YOU BETTER GET YOUR BUTT DOWN HERE! YOU'RE GONNA BE LATE FOR THE RIDE TO BEAUXBATONS!" my mother screamed up the stairs. 

"I'M COMING! Arghhh..." I grunted in frustration. 

I quickly chucked all my belongings into the enchanted bag that father had help me with. I had no idea why father did not allow me to do it, as the decree for underage wizardry had been broken. 

I quickly slid down the banister and walked to my mother and clutched her arm tightly, looking at the clock mother had inherited from Greatgrandmother weasley. Father's hand was pointed at " work" .

Sighing, mother then turned and I was dragged with her to go to the pier where the Pegasus ride awaited me. My feet touched ground and I opened my eyes. The beautiful horses with wings that were all pearly white. They were held on by golden reins that were connected to the carriage at the back. A nice hue of sky blue. 

"Alexis Potter! You better stay ou tof trouble." my mother said, her finger wagging my way. 

I hid my hand behinf me and did the "yakking" thing. She is REALLY naggy. 

Mother continued to yak about me getting into trouble. 

"MOTHER!" I'll TRY to stay out of trouble, okay?Chill... Sheesh." I told her. 

She finally stopped yakking and handed me my money bag filled with ten galleons, and a cornbeef sandwich. 

"Mother! I really hate cornbeef. You know that!" I said, eyeing the sandwich in disgust. 

"Fine. I'll give you a few more galleins and some sickles for the food cart in the carriage. It's in the front, if they have not change it. " my mother gave up. 

I grinned and shot my hand out, waiting for the galleons and sickles to be placed in my hand. Just then, a faint "pop" came from behind me. I turned and saw the familiar face of my father. 

"DAD! YOU CAME!" I screamed, causing eyes to turn. I ran up to him and gave him a huge bear hug. 

"You think I will miss my daughter's first ride to school?" my father asked sarcastically. 

"Yes." I said, teasingly. 

"Why you little -- " my father was cut off by the bell ringing. 

"You better hurry up, hun. The carriage is about to leave." my mother hurried. 

I nodded and ran to the entrance of the carriage, a cluster of girls were jamming the entrance. 

One said " I heard the Triwizard Tournament is being held at Beauxbatons this year!"

Another squealed and said" Durmstrang is coming! Oh my Merlins! I hope the boys are really cute!" 

A third one said " No! Hogwarts boys are cuter!" 

And they started quarelling. 

I rolled my eyes and my mind started wondering to whether Remus and Dora were coming to watch. 

Taylor hooted softly as I got onto the carriage. 

The insides is WAY bigger than the outside, the blue was on the walls, the smell of food filled my nose and my mouth started to water slightly. 

I found an empty cagin and placed my bag on my lap and placed Taylor's cage on the seat next to me. 

"Excuse me, is there anyone seating here?" a girl pointed to the next seat in front of me. 

I shook my head and gave her a glance over.

She had long blonde hair, her face almost flawless. She was wearing a tanktop and shorts with a crop shirt over the tank top. A nice sky blue belt wrapped around her thin waist. 

"Hi, my name's Skylar. " she introduced herself. 

"I'm Alexis. You can call me Ally or Alex." I replied, giving her a nice smile. 

"Are you going to wear anything blue soon? There is barely any blue on you." she asked. 

I took out a pair of sky blue shoes I had found in my mother's old bag of Beauxbatons stuff, and wore them. They had removed the school uniform after Grandfather Potter's year of Triwizard Tournament. 

They had to only wear a piece of clothing thst is sky blue. 

"Nice shoes, Al." Skylar said. 

Just then, my stomach growled. 

"You sound hungry, Al." Skylar pointed out, giggling a little. 

I got up and asked" You want anything to eat?" 

She said" I'll come with you then." 

We both exited the cabin and walked to the cart in front.

"Hello, ladies. How may I help you?" A young plump lady smiled at us. 

"One Bertie Botts Every Flavour Beans, 5 chocolate frogs, 2 cauldron cakes and 2 mugs ofButterbeer please." I replied. 

"That would be two galleons please." I paid up and waited for Skylar to pay for her food. 

Finally, we got back into our cabin, to find two more girls inside. 

"Hello! Were you two here just now?" One of them asked. 

We nodded in unison.

"Well then, you both won't mind if we share it do ya?" another asked. 

We both shook our heads. 

They both looked just alike, similar to the last strand of hair. 

"You guys are?" I asked. 

The one on the right said"Anita." 

The left said"Akita." 

"We're twins!" they both said unison. 

"Okay. I'm Alexis. Call me Ally, Alex or like Skylar here, Al. " I said, gesturing to Skylar. 

"Sup. Skylar here. Alexis. Just call me Sky." she replied. 

And all of us burst out laughing.
