Chapter 2-My Brother Jerome
I arrived outside Jerome's door and took a breath. "This is where my new life starts" I said to myself.
Suddenly Jerome bursted out.
"Jesus!" He said flying back "Don't do that please" he started to laugh and pulled me into a huge hug. "I missed you sis."
I relaxed and hugged him back "How would you miss me? I left when we were so young?"
"Oh, shut up" he laughed "Come on, bring your stuff inside" he turned around and led me inside. His home wasn't too big but it was surprisingly clean. "You came just in time" he said grabbing my suitcase.
"Why?"
"I'm having a party tonight loads of my friends are coming from out of town and staying over"
"Oh..." I began to get a twisty feeling in my stomach I am extremely shy when it comes to meeting new people and I didn't think I would be meeting Jerome's friends this quick.
"What's wrong?" he said putting my case into my room
"Nothing, it's just I...I'm really shy you know, and I'm just nervous about meeting your friends this early" I looked down at my hands and played with my fingers.
"Don't worry you'll be fine my friends are really cool, they'll just treat you like anyone else" he patted me on the back reassuringly
"Hmm...Ok, if you say so" I looked at him and smiled. He smiled back and laughed
