Chapter 28-Jerashleigh?

~{Paisley's POV}~

I woke up to the sound of yelling. I looked at my phone, it was 2 am. I got up shoved Mitch's shirt on and dragged myself up the stairs with the buttons still undone. I saw Jerome and Mitch stood in the hall yelling at eachother.

"What's going on?" I asked sleepily rubbing my eyes

"Well wasn't that a nice surprise to come in to" Jerome snapped

"What do you mean" I yawned still not fully awake

"I mean that I get a taxi here, Mitch lets me in then when I ask if I can see you he suddenly goes all quiet. So I go downstairs and see you're asleep with hickeys all over you!" he screamed.

I rolled my eyes at him and shook my head.

"Get over it Jerome, it was gonna happen eventually. You just happened to be out at the time with you 'new girlfriend'" I hissed

"Ashleigh..." Jerome's voice crackled, my eyes widened. I walked over to him and threw my arms around him.

"What happened?" I whispered

"Well I got a call from Mitch saying that you guys were staying out so me and Ashleigh stayed out too. After a while we finally met back up with the group. I asked Maddie if she had heard from you and she said that she had spoke to you half an hour before saying you were at home. I got worried and said I needed to check on you, then as I was getting into the taxi I saw Ashleigh kiss Brad" his eyes shone from the tears, I hated seeing him cry.

"Come 'ere Jay" I said going to hug him. He shook his head as I put my arms around him, he tried to move but finally gave in, burying his face into my hair.

I heard my phone go off down stairs so I pulled out of our hug and ran down to get it. It was a twitter mention from Maddie "@Maddiejoi: Amazing night with mah gurls @MissPaisley @Kritten44 @ChloeBlooey @LittleQuake and the guys" I smiled and retweeted it. I tapped on Ashleigh's account (@LittleQuake) and looked at her profile. She had a lot of pictures of her with the kids from Ghana and a few tweets about her work along with links to the donation site. I updated the page and a new tweet popped up:

"@LittleQuake: Why do I always make such stupid mistakes..."

I jumped up and ran upstairs but Jerome was gone.

"Where's Jerome?" I asked

"Upstairs" he said not taking his eyes off the TV. I rolled my eyes and went upstairs.

"Jay, look!" I said throwing my phone at him

"Pais, I don't think looking at pictures of you and Mitch is gonna help right now" he said holding up my phone.

"Woops, sorry wrong thing" I blushed. I changed it back to twitter and handed it back. He studied it for a while his eyes going backwards and forwards re-reading the text over and over. I don't think he could get his head around the fact that this girl really liked him.

But when he handed my phone back to me he just lay back in his bed and turned his back to me. I took the hint and left.

I sloped down the stairs and went into the living room. I could hear Mitch in the kitchen so I followed him. He was stood at the dishwasher taking all the clean dishes out and putting them away. I walked up next to him and started to help. I didn't make any deliberate eye contact but I could see him smirking at me out of the corner of my eye.

My head snapped an I looked at him.

"Can I help you" I said raising my eyebrows

"You're so whipped for me" he laughed shaking his head

"Am not!" I said putting a plate into a high cupboard. As I reached up my shirt rose up revealing my stomach. I felt Mitch grab me around my waist and rest his chin on my shoulder.

"Are to" he said kissing my cheek. I pushed his face away and un wrapped his arms. "What's up with you" he said sourly

"When I asked you where Jerome was you couldn't take your eyes off of the TV for one second to answer me" I said moving my hair from behind my ears

"Well, I'm sorry" he said giving me wide eyes

"Stop that!" I said hitting his chest, he knows I melt when he does that.

He smirked and puckered his lips for me to kiss them. And I did. As I went to walk back into the living room I heard Mitch shout

"Love you!"

"Love you too" I grinned walking out.
