Chapter 11-We Can Make it

When we had finally got my computer we walked out of the store and went back to the car. On the drive home we just talked about how we were going to convince Jerome that we were serious about making things work long distance. He would just say that we wouldn't be able to do it and that we weren't serious. But we were.

When we finally got home we decided not to tell Mat or Jerome yet. We would wait until later after he had seen us together properly and not just flirting on a couch.

"We're back!" Mitch shouted

"Hey guys in here!" we heard Jerome shout from his room. We walked in and he and Mat were sat at his computer.

"What you doing?" I asked

"We made you your Minecraft account look" he pointed at the screen.

"Cool thank you" I said hugging him

"Your account name is MissPaisley and we got hold of the girl Bajan Canadian skin and we changed the hoodie to purple, made the jeans lighter and changed the hair to blonde" he smiled.

"Aww Jerome thank you so much" I hugged him again even harder.

"Time to play?" he said

"Haha sure" I smiled. Mitch opened his bridges server and we split into two groups of two.

"Mitch you go with Paisley to help her since she hasn't played the game before" said Mat

"She has played for a little while on my account before, but only getting the hang of the controls so i'll go with Mat" Jerome said

He set up my laptop for me in my room and Mitch put his next to mine then Jerome went into his room and Mat put his laptop in there too.

Then Jerome did his intro "Hey, what's goin' on e'ry body Jerome here and today I'm here with Mitch, Mat and Paisley and today we are playing Bridges!"

"Oh yeh" Mitch shouted "We are going to be doing things a little different this time round since Paisley has never played bridges and has only played Minecraft a few times so we are going to go on teams Mat and Jerome against me and Paisley"

"Legoo" Jerome shouted

"Okey we are going to turn off Skype and try and not be too loud seeing as we are only down the hall from eachother" Mat laughed "We'll see you in bit"

"Bai" Jerome added into the end. We turned off Skype and carried on recording.

By the end Mitch killed Jerome and Mat killed Mitch so it was just me and Mat.

I ran to the edge of the island and placed some water down then I went to run in land when Mat jumped on me and hit me off the edge. I caught the water at the bottom bit he didn't know and jumped off in celebration then it came up. NoochM fell out of the world.

"Wait it didn't say Paisley died?" Mat said.

"I know look where I am" Me and Mitch were in tears laughing. Mat's character flew over and looked at me climbing up the water fall.

"ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!" Mat raged.

"Does that mean I win?" I said

"Yep, congratulations Paisley on winning your first ever bridges in your first game" Jerome said

"G Geeeee" Mitch shouted

"My gawd..." Mat mumbled

"Paisley you won so take the outro" said Jerome.

"Oh ok, I hope you all enjoyed watching my first ever attempt at Bridges and I won! In your face Mat! And we'll see you guys later. OH, and slap that like button with your forehead" I laughed and everyone else started laughing too.

"Bai" they all finished.

"How did you know that I said that?" Mitch said turning off his equipment.

"Last night I couldn't sleep so I watched a few of your videos" I said turning my laptop off.

"Really? What did you think?"

"I think that you are a douche bag on and off screen"

"Oh ha-ha" he leaned towards me and kissed my cheek.

"I'm just kidding, you're a sweetheart when you want to be but wow you used to be REALLY bad" I said

"What? When?"

"I watched a few of your BYD podcasts off of your ASF channel as well"

"Oh god you didn't" Mitch buried his face in his hands.

I laughed "Yes I diiid. Your not like that anymore are you? You don't only act like this around me?"

"No, well I don't act that bad anymore like the way I talked about girls. Looking back at it, it was disgusting" he said pulling a face

"Oh yeh, was that on the one where you all had face cams? When you said to Jerome that you didn't want a girlfriend like he did?"

"Yeh but that was just because I hadn't met the right girl. If I had met you in high school it would have been a different story" he said putting his arm around me. Then we heard Jerome and Mat coming. So we jumped up.

"That was great guys" Jerome said.

"Well played Paisley" Mat smiled at me.

"Haha, thank you" I laughed.

I looked at Mitch and he mouthed to me "Talk to him" then he motioned at Jerome. I nodded at him.

"Hey, Jerome can you run me down to the store so I can get some headache tablets please I'm feeling a bit dizzy" I said rubbing my head.

"Sure you can stay here I'll go get them" he said grabbing his keys.

"No, it's fine I'll go with you. I can't take some types"

"Ok" then we both walked out of the door and headed to his car.

As we set off I took a deep breath and started talking

"Look Jerome, I don't really need any headache pills I just needed an excuse to get you on your own"

"Sure what's up"

"When me and Mitch were getting my computer we saw a group of guys there, and Mitch explained that they always-"

"Yeh, yeh I know who you're talking about carry on" he said.

"Ok well they were already starting on him an it got me really annoyed and when they asked what he was doing he said he was helping me get a new computer. At this point I was stood somewhere else. Then after he said me they asked who I was so I said that I was his girlfriend to get them off his back"

"Ok, that's fine what's the big deal?" he asked

"Well, as they were leaving they kept looking over and making stupid kissing faces. Then when Mitch shook his head at them they started giving him funny looks so we kissed"

"WHAT?! He kissed you!?" Jerome yelled.

"No I kissed him, and anyway it was just to prove a point but when we kissed I felt something Jerome, and we talked about it and with your permission we REALLY want to try long distance. Please I really do trust him" I looked at him, he was still focused on the road. He didn't speak.

Then all of a sudden took a turn and stopped in the car park of best buy.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" he said finally,

"100%" I pleaded

"Then go for it babe, but if he breaks your heart-"

"He wont Jerome" I threw my arms round his neck. "Thank you" I whispered into his ear.

"Come on" he said "Let's go home"
