As soon as we got to camp, we informed everyone that it was time to go. Fage, Kate, Trent, and I began to clean up the camp- Kate lowered and got rid of the moss in case if suspicion rose from the Shade Kingdom, Trent got rid of the ashes and made out site filled with natural nature, to make it look like as if we were never there, Fage and I started packing everything up in their desired backpacks, and the animals kind of helped out.
When we finished, I felt Atlas's mood morph from anger, to satisfaction- and even a very slight hint of happiness. I saw her smile at me, and asked Fage, Would you like to ride me, Fage?
Fage was at a loss of words at such an oddly-worded request. Umm... I think I'm a little big for that, Atlas.
Atlas smiled, and then illuminated a bright turquoise, and she morphed into a wolf twice her size. She winked. How 'bout now?
Fage stood there, flabbergasted, and replied, Woah! Uh... yeah. I guess! She excitedly hopped onto Atlas's back and laughed. You're so BIG! That's really cool! Can YOU show me how to shape shift?!
I laughed, and replied, Another time, Fage.
We were all finally prepared, and we decided to load all the luggage onto Atlas, and then make our way there ourselves.
Atlas smirked, and said, Race ya, and took off.
Oh no you don't, you sly dog! I said, and raced after her. My suit turned into its winged suit and I directed a wind of my own making to make me soar high above the air.
I watched from above as Hurricane carried Trent on his back and was bounding beside Atlas and Fage, while Winter had enlarged herself and was soaring beside me, with Kate whooping with excitement.
"WOOOOOOO HOOOOOOOOO!" she yelled as the white-feathered falcon dove down. I followed her, and then I started soaring at Atlas's exact speed, and I caught sight of the camp.
As we made out way over, I started hearing cheering, as a fairly large crowd had gathered in front of the camp, assuming they were celebrating of our return.
I finally started running and the flaps disappeared into pockets in my suit, and I started running towards the camp, and I hopped on Atlas. I hopped on ,behind Fage and was riding Atlas now.
We finally stopped, and I hopped off and over Atlas, front-flipping in the process and landed confidently, and I began to announce, "People, of Camp Elemental. I am glad to announce that we have now gotten all of the cameras set in place successfully!" Cheering rang throughout the crowd. I helped Fage down, and I said, "And, in addition, we have a very talented young lady here by the name of Fage, who will be joining our camp as well!" I grasped her hand and held it up high and proud, and Fage shouted, "Let's kick some dark-magic butt!", and the whole crowd roared with twice as excitement from before. I laughed at her funny comment.
Suddenly, the crowd went silent, and everyone bowed, as Grand Master approached us, eyes twinkling with excitement and satisfaction. I pulled Fage down with me softly, and we all bowed to her, and I heard a repetitive murmur of, "Greetings, Grand Master." from the crowd. I too, stated this, while Atlas, Hurricane, and Winter approached, shrinking back into normal size and standing up tall. Grand Master gave a slight nod of respect towards the animals, and they nodded solemnly in reply.
"Kate," he announced, addressing to her. "The Tech Team is waiting for you- they would like to tell you something VERY important." Kate nodded, and urgently made her way over by the Tech Team, with their hair tied back, glasses on, and serious looks on their face, where an emblem as shown on their t-shirts, that had a silver circles with two T's on them.
Master then addressed Trent. "You have an army that is at your command..." He looked at me and winked. "As of right now. I'd like for you to warm them up. They await you in the training area." Trent nodded, and started sprinting towards the huge coliseum that awaited him.
He finally walked up to Fage and I, and asked, "Please, Fage and Scarlet, follow me." We both nodded, and we made our way towards his palace.
We were directed once more to the secret meeting room, in which I have been assigned the mission. Atlas followed me, along with Hurricane and Winter. Why are you ALL here? I questioned Atlas, and she replied simply, Their presence is required. I didn't ask any more questions, as I got into super-serious mode as I entered the room, and was seated in front of all the Masters. Fage sat across from Atlas, and Hurricane and Winter sat across each other. They must be very important if they are provided seats. I thought to myself.
The Masters focused their attention on Fage, and each of them welcomed her to the camp. Fage was surprisingly VERY polite for her age, and remained mature to the seemingly alien greetings she was getting.
"While this is happening," Fredrick said. "Each of us-personally-would like to teach you the basics of the elements. It will take four months- one month for each of us, in order for her to catch up to her training, and then she can come to the academy."
I felt a mixture of surprise and sadness. "Sir, I had taken an oath to teach her everything I know..."
Master Edward raised a hand and I silenced. "We know, Scarlet. But we need you to be focused on your special training, alongside help with the situation that has been revealed to us. You're going to have too much responsibility..."
Master Walter nodded, and said, "We need you to complete your training on the element of Spirit first, and help with this situation."
I sighed, confused and saddened.
Alex smiled, his eyes twinkling, and said, "We know, it's going to be hard to part with Fage, but when she'll come back, she can be here forever, and you guys will never be parted again."
Master Samuel agreed, stating, "Yes, but... you will be able to stay with Fage until all of this Shade nonsense is over."
Relief flowed through me. Thank the great, elemental gods above I was being able to still be with her. I couldn't part with her- not yet.
Fage also looked relieved, too and said, "Thank you, Masters. You don't know how much this means to me. I need to be with Scarlet at least a few days... then I'll be ready for training."
Master Samuel nodded, and said, "Scarlet, you're excused. You need to go to the Tech Team's hangout and see what problems the Shades plan to create. Afterwards, I need you to explain it to the army that Trent is warming up with right now and help them train. Finally tomorrow, I need you to make an announcement to the entire camp about what is going to happen."
I took it all in. I took a deep breath, nodding, and replied, "I'll get right to it, sir."
He nodded, and gestured me towards the door, and added, "We're going to make sure Fage knows the basics, ok?"
I nodded, and said, "Thank you, Grand Master."
He gave me a warm smile, and before he shut the door, said, "No, thank you, Miss Scarlet May."
