It had been two days and she still hadn't heard anything from Don, she knew that she was the one that told him to stay away but it still hurt that he didn't even bother to check on them. Lindsey had called and she was interested in what he'd been working on so he said to come into the studio to see what they were working on. She was still reeling from their kiss, however small it was, Lindsey still never failed to send electricity through her and she wanted (needed) more. She knew it was wrong, though, she wouldn't go their right now. Now they could be friends and she could catch up on his life. She was going into the studio tomorrow so she decided to buy one of Fleetwood Mac's records just to see what they sounded like. She bought their self titled album and when she played and from the first song she was blown away, sure he was better than good when they recorded Buckingham Nicks but he only seemed to have gotten better (if that was possible). She was also really excited to meet the owner of the velvety voice on one of her favourite songs from the album Say You Love Me. As well as wanting to meet them she also needed some time to be an adult. She had spent the last week hardly out of the house and even Sara hadn't spent much time with other kids either.

She dropped Sara off at one of her friends from play groups house and made the drive to the studio. She had spent extra time getting ready the day, not sure if it was for Lindsey or for just in case she ran into Don.

She walked into the studio confidently and was met with Lindsey waiting at the front desk for her. "Hey Steves!" He greeted with a big smile before kissing her on the cheek.
"Hey Linds! I'm so excited to hear this! I listened to the Fleetwood Mac album and it's really great! I was blown away!" Lindsey blushed and Stevie laughed.
"Thanks Steph, let's go." Stevie didn't know if she was relieved or disappointed when she didn't see Don on their way thought to Fleetwood Macs recording booth. She walked through the door and was immediately greeted by a smiling blonde haired woman with a thick English accent. "Why hello! You must be Stevie! I'm Christine." She said shaking Stevie's hand. "Hi Christine," Stevie smiled back, feeling extremely at ease with this woman. "Really nice to meet you, was that your voice on the album I heard?"
"Well it must have been love, I don't see any sound like that coming from any of these," she gestured to the two men sitting in the corner and Lindsey, "people." Stevie laughed, "well I really love your voice, it's beautiful!"
"Likewise my dear," Stevie gave her a confused look so Christine clarified. "I heard you on the Buckingham Nicks album, it's how we found Lindsey actually." The girls continued to chat and were interrupted by two men, one very tall and the other about average height. The tall one introduced himself as Mick, the drummer and the smaller one was John the bass player.

The day went on without a hitch, the band was very welcoming to Stevie and even had her lay down some vocals for a song or two that were going to be on the album. They were just finishing up when the door burst open and a familiar man came busting in. "Fleetwood! We're going out, you coming?" Glenn stood in the doorway, waiting for an answer when he saw Stevie. "Stevie? What are you doing here? Don really wants to talk to you." Stevie was mad about what he just said, she knew it wasn't Glenn's fault, he was probably drunk and high but she couldn't hold it in any longer.
"Well why can't he come and talk to me himself then, or at least call to make sure we are still alive!" She tried to stay what she could consider as calm seeing as she was surrounded by people she only met hours ago.
"You told him not to come home, what was he supposed to do." Stevie was seething
"I said not to come home while he was still fucking those whores, not to never come home again! Why am I even talking to you about this, where is he?" Lindsey's band members sat in silence, trying to piece together the situation.
"He's in the studio." Glenn said sheepishly like a little boy telling on his friend.

Stevie stormed out of the room and into the studio where her husband was recording. She found him sitting by himself in a corner with a glass of Amber liquid in his hands. He saw her and immediately lifted his head. "Stevie! Baby I'm so glad you came here I'm so sorry I'm and idiot please take me back!" He blurted it all out in one go and Stevie was a little thrown, she motioned for him to come outside, she didn't want to have this conversation in front of all those people. Don followed Stevie to an empty room down the hall. As soon as she closed the door he began talking. "Steves I'm so sorry, words can't describe how sorry I am. I'm an absolute asshole and I know how much I've hurt you, I wish I could take it all back, you don't know how much I want to take it back." He stopped talking and looked up at her with tears in his eyes. Her eyes, however, were cold and that frightened him, he always loved how warm and welcoming her honey brown eyes were but in that moment they weren't warm or welcoming, they were dark and distant.
"Don I want a divorce."
