CLARKE'S POV
After about an hour, Octavia and I are putting the final touches on our room. We slide my bed back against the wall and step back to admire our handiwork. I think we did pretty good for only taking an hour to do it. I look around the room and see how we set it up. Beds on opposite walls with the desk on the wall in the middle, right beside the closet. Bedroom door opposite the closet with the bathroom on the left as you walk in the bedroom door. We shoved the dresser in the closet to get it out of the way for the second bed. Sometime during the day, someone brought the other bed up because it wasn't there when Aurora showed me around this morning.
I then look over to O who is sitting there smiling like an idiot. I don't blame her though, we did a good job and I'm excited to be sharing a room with her.
"It looks amazing! Doesn't it, Clarkie?" Octavia asks as if reading my mind.
"Totally O, I love it! I can't believe we did this!" I reply excitedly.
"I know right. We should show Bell, I'll go and get him." O says turning in the doorway, I'm assuming to go get Bellamy.
I make a split second decision and end up blurting out, "Hey, let me go get him. I need to start learning where things are in this house anyways." I am so lying through my teeth right now. I honestly do need to learn my way around but that's not the only reason I want to go get him.
"Sure, I need to finish up a few things anyways." She simply states coming back into our room while I head out into the hallway. I look around trying to remember which door leads to Bellamy's room before knocking on the door two doors from Octavia and I's.
"Come in." A gruff voice says that I immediately recognize as Bellamy's and I remember what Aurora told me this morning. Mine and Octavia's room is the first room on the right when you come up the stairs. Then next to that the bathroom, then Bellamy's room with Aurora's room being the only door on the other side of the hall besides a closet full of towels and extra blankets. And then I remembered that the bathroom connected O's and my room to Bellamy's.
Why didn't you just go through the bathroom? Because that would be weird. And making out with your foster brother isn't? Hey, that wasn't my fault, I didn't know he was my foster brother! You still made out with a random guy on your first day. Shut up.
Before I could change my mind, or more likely wimp out, I opened the door and walked into Bellamy's room. I was immediately greeted by the scent of his cologne. I was also greeted by a shirtless Bellamy with his back to me, showing his defined back muscles.
"Hey O, do you have my-" Bellamy started to say, turning around but stopped short when he saw it was me and not Octavia. "Oh. Hey, Princess." He quickly recovers from his shocked expression turning it into a smirk. I on the other hand and am not so quick to recover and am using all the willpower I have in me to not drool over the sight of his bare chest.
But my willpower doesn't have to last long because Bellamy grabs a t-shirt off his bed and throws it over his head. Dammit. Stop reading my mind. I am your mind, Blondie. I knew that. Suuuure. Shut it. "Hey." I quietly reply, trying to end the conversation with my mind.
"So what's up?" Bell asks raising an eyebrow, his signature smirk still present on his face.
"We need to talk-" Those four words are all it takes to turn his smirk into a look of seriousness in less than a second.
"I know." He agrees.
"Let me finish. We need to talk, but we can't right now." His facial features form into a look of confusion so I continue. "Octavia wants you to come and see what we did with the room. That's why I came in here."
