Chapter 10 - the girly girl

"Dad" I whisper.
Dad and I watched a movie when we got home, it was If I stay. It's a really good movie, but kinda sad too. Dad fell asleep halfway through. I don't get how people do that! If I'm watching a movie (also really boring ones) I can't fall asleep.
I guess I just go upstairs and go to bed?

I find a blanket and put it over dad. I kiss his forehead and say goodnight.
Sam is at Jake's house, him and the other's (Jake and Aiden) are having a sleepover. I'm pretty sure they aren't gonna sleep, but play video games all night.
I guess that's just their thing.

Emily is asleep. She always wakes up early to go to work. And when it's the weekend she is really tired, and always goes to bed early. That's how it is, and that's how it's supposed to be.

I walk upstairs and try not to make a sound. The last thing I want is to wake up one of them.
When I've closed the door I go over to my bed and put myself under the duvet as quick as possible. After we ate dinner today, I changed to my pyjamas so I don't have to change now.

I find my phone and start looking through Twitter. It's funny that I actually never really got into the whole Instagram thing, but I enjoy being on Twitter a lot. I suddenly get a text, it's from Bella? I thought I didn't give my number to her, but she gave her number to me.
I go into the text and see that she already send a text from my phone saying 'This is Maddie - Bella'
That explains things. Well her text:

Hey Maddie, nice seeing you again! I was just wondering if you maybe wanna hang out tomorrow? My mom and dad are on a date , so I thought it would be fun to hang out with my friends. So since you're the only one I could imagine having a fun night with :)

She's so kind, I can't take it. She doesn't even know me that well and now she tells me I'm fun hanging out with!

Hey Bella, nice seeing you too <3 I would totally love to hang out with you tomorrow, just tell me where I need to be, and when! :D

"I'm leaving!" I yell before I'm out of the door. I had a great morning with the whole family. It's nice to eat breakfast with all of them.
