Chapter 5 - Wake up Grayson

>>I suddenly get a message, and I open my phone to see who send me a text. 

From: Unknown number
Hey Maddie! It's me Ethan. You told me that you're new in the city, and you're looking for new friends, and I feel pretty bad about that it was a prank. I just want to let you know, that you still have a friend in me if you want, and you can always text me if you want to hang out :D

I smile at the message. He actually wants to be my friend.<<

I try to reply quickly, but I have no idea what to say.

To: Ethan
Hi there Ethan! It's so nice to hear that! It would be so fun to hang out sometime. I'm actually bored mostly in this week because school first starts next week for me, can we maybe hang out tomorrow or the day after?

I don't know if the message is okay, or if it feels like I'm desperate to hang out, but he said it him self. If I wanted to hang out, I should just text him.
"Hey can you hear me?" Sam asks.
"Oh sorry, I just got a text message, I'm ready to listen now" I say and put my phone down on his table.
"Cool lets start"

"I'm so tired Sam! I don't think I can play anymore" I say and rub my eyes.
"One more game?" He asks and I throw myself in his bed.
"Sorry, maybe tomorrow" I say and stand up again.
"Okay good night" he says and hands me my phone.
"It was fun playing" I say and walk out of his door and into my room.
We have played for a long time today! The time is only 09:20pm but after I have skated so much today, my whole body is tired.
I take my phone and see I have got a message from an unknown number again. It might be Ethan, cause I didn't make him a contact. I ignore the message really quick and call my dad. Yes I'm too lazy to go down and say good night.
He takes the phone, and says hello.
"Hey dad. I'm really really tired, so I'm going to bed now. Good night"
"Oh sweetheart, I'm coming up to say good night to you, wait 10 minutes I'll be there" he says and hangs up.
I lay down in my bed and look at Ethan's message, but before I do anything I make him a contact. Ethan.
I smile and start reading his message.
