CHAPTER 1

Santana's POV

"Morning ladies. Get your shit all together and get to work. I got business to take care of." Said my horrible boss. Why'd I even accept doing this job anyways? What was I thinking? Rachel was the one who suggested it. But on the bright side, we get cash. I'm trying to get my own apartment. I'm living with Kurt and Rachel at the moment. They are the WORST.
"Thanks a lot Rachel for setting me up to this..."
"Santana, be confident."
"Wow can I be confident when my boss is an asshole?"
"Just... Ugh I don't have time." Rachael storms off to the kitchen like a lightning bolt. I sigh, put my apron on and grab my notepad. I put the pen over my ear. I've only been working here for a few days. My boss suddenly comes out of the double doors pulling this short, blonde chick.
"Dani! Make her show you around or your fired!" I glance over at her eyes. She glances at me back. I felt bad. No one should be pulled around by that. She smiles at me showing stunning pearly white teeth while I got distracted by her beautiful shade of brown eyes. I felt my brain just drifting away for a few seconds but then connects back with earth again. I smile back.
"DANI!" He yells. "DO YOUR JOB!" She snaps out and grabs her notepad out of her pocket. She sighs and walks over to me. I start to get nervous. Like a lion was coming after me before I could be eaten. My palms start to sweat. This usually doesn't happen when I meet new people. She had something special in her.
"Don't worry about him. He'll always be a giant living asshole." The blonde says.
"He shouldn't shove you around like that."
"Trust me, I can handle him." Silence came for about 5 seconds. I put my notepad back in my pocket while sliding my hands in them.
"So - Your Santana."
"How'd you know?"
"I can read your badge." We both laugh.
"Oh, oh yeah. Forgot that was there." She smirks. "And your Dani, am I correct?"
"Yes I am dani. Nice to meet you." She reaches out her hand for me to shake it. I smile while shaking her hand.
"Nice to meet you dani." She looked new. I haven't seen her before.


Dani's POV

The brunette shakes my hand.
"LADIES FOR THE LAST TIME! GET TO WORK!" Our boss, Walter says.
"We know, Walter! If you stop saying it we'll do it!"
"Shut up, dani!" Santana laughs. Santana is one of the most attractive girls I've ever seen. Her tallness, her eyes, her makeup, her face, everything about her made her look like some model. I start to get nervous. I wrap my apron around my waist. My hands start to shake.
"Need help?" She asked politely as she walked behind me. She grabs the two ends of my apron and ties them up. I felt embarrassed. I started to blush a bit. She walked back in front of me.
"Need me to show you around?" She asks. "Sure!" We both smirk. She takes me through the double doors. She brings me inside the kitchen.
"This is the kitchen."
"It's big."
"Yeah I know. But it's worth it." I look around the area. I smile. I find her actually very attractive.
"Right this way, Dani." She escorted me into the next set of double doors.

Santana POV

Dani's so small and tiny. It makes her even more adorable than she already is. Was I falling for her already? We met like 10 minutes ago! Jesus Christ...
"This is were we put all of our belongings like jackets, our cloths and others."
"Cool, cool." Dani half smiles. She grabs my hand and brings me back into the diner.
"So, where you from?" Dani asks me.
"I came from Lima, Ohio. I moved here to New York to do something big. I moved in with a bunch of losers that I will not mention, and I need some cash so Rachel over there suggested this job." Rachel glared at us. She walked away giving me a dirty look.
"Isn't she in the play funny girl?"
"She just started. She's pretty good."
Rachel walks to us hearing our convo. What a dork.
"You think I'm good, Santana?"
"Yeah I guess so."
"I've never heard you say a nice compliment about someone especially me! I'm almost shocked."
"Yeah, yeah. We gotta get to back to work if you don't mind." Rachel gazed over at Dani.
"Who's this?"
"This is Dan-"
"No Santana. I want her to introduce herself."
"Whatever, berry." Rachel reaches for Dani's hand.
"Hi! I'm Rachel! Nice to meet you!" Rachel has this huge smile on her face.
"I'm Dani!" Dani shows her beautiful white teeth again. They were so sparkly.

Dani POV

I find Rachel very corky. She was so bubbly. I shook her hand.
"Well, it was nice meeting you Dani!"
"Yeah!" I grinned. She walked away. I moved my hair out of my face.
"Wow. Very corky girl she is."
"At least you didn't have to go to high school with her for 4 years."
"Really? You went to high school with her?"
"Yes. Hard and brutal days. For HER at least. I was the main bitch. I was a cheerleader. I basically ruled the school with my girl Brittany."
"Main bitch, huh. That sounds fun."
"Oh yes it was Dani. Oh yes it was." We both giggle.
"Now I know who you were talking about one of the losers you live with, am I right?"
"Yeah pretty much." I smiled.
"OK LADIES! YOU CAN GO NOW! DONT WAIST MY TIME!" Walter said. Me and Santana walked through the kitchen to our belongings.
"You wanna go get coffee together some time tomorrow?" I asked.
"Sure. What time around?"
"Maybe 11?"
"Alright. That sounds fine to me. I don't have any plans." I smile.
"Alright." We both get our belongings. I could tell she liked me. She said she was a total bitch around everybody. But she wasn't mean to me. I started to get more attracted to her. It felt, different. But a good kind of different.
