Chapter 16

*FIVE MONTHS LATER* SANTANAS POV

It's been like 7 months since me and dani started dating, aka the best 7 months of my life. I want her in my life till I'm old. I'm thinking of proposing to her. I want to spend the rest of my life with this woman.

I wake up next to dani in our very comfortable new bed. She always snores a little and I find that so adorable. I kiss her on the cheek and quietly get out of bed. I head to the kitchen in our new apartment that we had just bought a month ago. We still need to unpack a bit more which really bothers me. We both quit our job at the diner. Dani started university. She started two months ago and is training to become a doctor. She didn't want to stay in dorms because she just loves me so much. haha. I have all these thoughts in my head about me proposing to her. What will she say? Will she say yes? Will she say no? Will she leave me? Ugh. I just can't stop thinking about it. I went to the refrigerator and grabbed the milk. As soon as I turned around, A brown haired dani stood before me. Yes, I did say brown hair.

"Morning, sleepy head!" I joked. She laughed and hugged me tightly.

"Shut up." She said. I felt her warm breathe on my shoulder cause..her head..was on..my shoulder.. ANYWAYS! I laughed and released. I kissed her on the lips and she smiled. That kiss felt like our very first kiss. I asked her if that was goodbye, she said for now, then we kissed, and she smiled at me. When she smiled after that kiss just happened, I felt the same feeling as I did that day. She walked over to the couch and flopped herself on it. I couldn't help but laugh the way she flopped.

"Soooo" she said. "What are we doing today?" I still haven't met her parents yet after 7 months.

"How about.." She looked up at me.

"Yes?"

"Go see your parents." She raised her eyebrows.

"Umm"

"Dani."

"Yes?" now it's time to be serious.

"I still haven't met your family yet." "Christmas is in a few days. Can we see them then? For Christmas dinner?" I'm a little concerned. Why doesn't she want me to meet them?

"Why don't you want me to meet them?" She gets up from the couch and walks over to me holding both of her hands.

"Because I'm nervous. What if they don't like you?" I frowned and looked down at the floor.

"Ok fine. We'll see them on Christmas. But I want you to go out and do something just for fun! Im going out with Rachel and Kurt today. Go see your parents or friends today, Dani. Have fun!" I smiled. I was going to get an engagement ring with Kurt and Rachel.

"Ooook! Imma call my mom and ask her if I can hang out with her today." She smiled and hugged me. I kissed her head and released. She walked inside her room. I took a deep breathe in and went in the bathroom to do my makeup.

I just got to the mall with Rachel and Kurt to buy a engagement ring for dani. Her and her mom are doing something today. I don't know where, but they better not come to the mall today.

"So where are we buying the ring?" Kurt asked. He already got married to blaine a few months ago. It was a cute wedding. Me and dani got drunk as hell but it was still so much fun.

"I wanna go to Tiffany's. I KNOW Dani loves that store." Rachel smiled at me.

"Yes Rachel?" I said to her.

"I'm just so happy my Santana is getting married!!" I looked at her seriously.

"I don't know if I'm getting married yet I haven't even bought the ring and-"

"Ok Santana. No sass today please?" Kurt said as he smirked.

"Fine." We walked around for a good 5 minutes. We had just passed forever 21. I glanced in the store and saw someone that looks very familiar. Brown hair, short, curves-oh shit. Why is Dani here?!?! CRAP IM SCREWED! When I saw her, my heart stopped. I just stood there in front of the store with my jaw dropped. Kurt and berry were walking a bit but then looked back at me and ran to me.

"What Santana? Are you ok?" Berry asked. I grabbed there arms and pulled them away from the store. I was hoping and praying that she wouldn't come to the mall.

"DANI'S IN FOREVER 21!"

"Oh shit." Kurt said.

"THATS WHAT I SAID! WE NEED TO GET TO TIFFANY'S NOW!" We all ran around and we finally made it. Holy crap there's a giant line up. What if she comes looking in here?! I need Kurt and Rachel to look out for me.

"You two stay out here and look out for dani. Whisper to me if she's around. If she sees me, I'm screwed." they both nodded. Four people were in front of me. Thank god I can afford a ring. I've been saving all my money for this moment. After waiting 20 minutes, no sign of dani and it's my turn.

"How may I help you today?" the lady asks me.

"Hi. I would like to purchase an engagement ring?"

"Sure!" She brought me over to the glass table with all the rings inside it.

"So, who's the special girl?" Huh?

"Uhh..I-"

"Oh come on! I know it's a girl! It'd be a guy coming in here to get an engagement ring. What's her name." Wow. She seems nice.

"Her name is Dani. The only problem is is that she's actually at the mall today, so if she comes in here today, don't mention me. She has brown hair, curves and is short. I'm pretty much screwed at the moment with my friends looking for her outside." She smiled at me.

"Ohhh. We'll just do this fast than!" I smiled a bit and looked at the rings. Ahh perfect. A beautiful silver ring with a big diamond on it.

"That's the one!" I pointed to the ring.

"Nice! That'd be $2900!" Wow. that's kinda cheap! I gave the lady the money.

I was about to walk out, but the lady called me again.

"By the way, I'm Jesy!"

"Santana." I said and smiled. She started blushing. Oh god no thanks. I hope she's not lesbian.. I see Rachel and Kurt talking as I walk out of the store. Why the fuck do they have bags?

"I'm back. Why do you guys have bags?" They both looked at each other and smiled.

"To cover your bags just in case dani sees us!"

"Smart." I smirked at them. "Let's go." We walked around the mall for a good 45 minutes just looking around. I kept seeing dani around a little but she still hasn't seen me. I had to go to the bathroom, so I gave Rachel the bags and ran in the bathroom. I walked inside the bathroom and went. I finished and walked out and I bummed into this short lady. I instantly knew who it was. Dani.

"Oh I'm sor- Santana?" Dani said and smiled.

"W-What are you doing here?" I said. I had butterflies in my stomach.

"I'm here with my mom!"

"O-Oh! I'm here with Kurt and-"

"And Rachel, I saw them outside the bathroom with a bunch of bags. Listen I really have to pee so, I'll see you later?" I smiled.

"Yes of course. I love you dani" she smiled and leaned in to kiss me on the cheek.

"Love you too!" She ran in the stall. I literally grabbed my chest cause I thought I was gonna have a fucking heart attack. God, sometimes dani scares the crap out of me.
