Chapter 3

DANI

OH MY GOD I CANT BELIEVE I JUST DID THAT! I'm so embarrassed. What the hell was I thinking! I ran back to my car and started to cry a bit. That's how embarrassed I was. I put my arms on the steering wheel and laid my head on top of it while crying. I don't even know if she's a lesbian but I still kissed her on the cheek! But it was strange how she held my hand at the coffee shop. I drove back home whipping tears off my face. I entered my apartment while running to my bed. I did not want to go to work tomorrow. If I don't go, my boss will fire me. I can't let him down even though he's an asshole.

The next day...

Back at the diner today. Nervous as hell. I don't know what Santana will say to me. I see Santana already inside wrapping her apron over her waist. I glare at her. I start to get even more nervous. She starts to walk over to me. I stand there waiting to see what she'll do. She kissed me on the cheek and walked a way while smirking at me! Holy crap! I did not expect that at all. I zone out for a few seconds than get back to earth again. I had this big smile on my face.

SANTANA

I did what I wanted to. To kiss her cheek back. I felt awesome to do it. I didn't want her to feel embarrassed. I wanted her to feel comfortable.

I quickly gazed over to her. She was blushing real badly. I was shocked to find out that she was a lesbian. I'm happy. I walked over to everyone's belongings and grabbed my notepad. Dani started to walk over to me.

"Hey."

"Hey dani." We both smiled. She was still blushing.

"After our shifts, you wanna go get lunch?"

"Sure." She grinned again.

"By the way, we have to perform our duet today." I say.

"That's today? I didn't know."

"That's ok. I just found out this morning when I got here."

"I can't wait to hear how you sing, dani."

"I can't wait to hear you too." I smile and hug her. Her white teeth show.

"LADIES NO FUNNY BUSINESS. CUSTOMERS ARE COMING." I roll my eyes. I grab my notepad from my pocket and put the pen over my ear. Dani goes behind the counter serving for people who aren't sitting at tables. I see this couple walk in so I go over to the table they go to.

"Hello guys, welcome. I'm Santana. What would you like to drink?"

"I would like a coke please" said the man.

"I would like a coke too, please." Said the woman.

"Alright. Two cokes. I'll be right back!" I think this job is changing me. I walked into the bar. That's manly where Dani was.

"Can I get two cokes please, dani?"

"Sure!" I smile. She pours them. I lean against the counter. She passes them over to me.

"Here ya go. By the way, we perform in ten minutes."

"Alright, and thank you." She smiles and gets back to serving. I walk back to the couple.

"Here are your cokes! have you thought of anything to eat?"

They gave me their orders. They were really nice to me. They were my first customers. I walked into the kitchen and told the chef their order. I walked out, but dani stopped me.

"We should get ready to perform."

"Ok." We saw Rachel walk in.

"Morning ladies!" Dani glares at her and goes back to writing down orders. I got Rachel's apron from her belongings box. I threw it to her.
