Chapter 2
"Holy shit! Grounded for how long?"
"Six fucking weeks." I spat out as I played around with the food on my lunch tray.
I looked up across the table and into my best friend's eyes. "What am I gonna do Sarah? I've got shit to do. I can't just sit around at home with my mother for six weeks."
I looked back down at the table and thought back to what had happened yesterday after I picked Luke up. As soon as I got home, my mother yelled at me and lets just say, a few things got broken in the process. Two ceramic vases and one table lamp to be exact. When my mom was angry, she liked to through stuff.
Taking myself out of that terrible flashback, I shuttered and looked up at Sarah.
"I have no idea." She said, grabbing her sandwich from her lunch bag and taking a bite.
"Yea me either. Plus she took my phone away so I can't even communicate with anyone." I slammed my head down the table just enough to make a small thud. "Lord just kill me now."
"Hey Emily what's wrong?" I heard an all too familiar voice ring out.
Not even wanting to lift my head, I stayed down blew out. I had way too much going on right now and I definitely didn't need another annoying problem to deal with.
Looking up, I noticed that Sarah had sat straight up and was fixing her hair. Looking up and over my shoulder, she smiled sweetly. "Hey Justin."
It was honestly almost sick how she tried to impress him. He was gross. He was a sleaze, yet every time he passed by people in the hallway, girls almost fainted. He wasn't really the most popular boy in school, but he was so hot that all of the girls knew who he was. He could get anyone he wanted with just the snap of his fingers. That's why I was kind of surprised that he wanted me. I was by no means the most attractive girl in school and like I said, I barely had any friends. I didn't even know why he was interested in me.
"Hey um...what's your name again?" he sat down beside me and looked over at Sarah. I could see that her eyes were filled with lust. I honestly wanted to gag myself.
"It's Sarah."
"Sarah! Oh yea that's rights. How are you doll face?"
She squirmed in her seat as her cheeks turned a deep crimson color. You could really tell she was enjoying the moment. "I'm great!" she squealed.
"That's good." he then turned to me and threw his arm over my shoulder. "And how are you Emily?"
Shrugging his arm off, I slid over as far as I could without falling out of my seat. "I'm just fine Bieber."
"How did last night go?"
I looked up at him and scrunched my eyebrows in a confused manner. He obviously caught on.
"You know, with your mom." He said.
"Oh... yea not so good. I'm grounded for six weeks."
"Damn." He mumbled, turning around in his seat and getting a little more comfortable. It was clear that he wasn't leaving anytime soon.
I rolled my eyes. "Yea and the worst part is, I don't even have my phone. No going out. No communication."
"Damn baby. That bites."
"Yea I sure does."
He let out a snicker and I immediately realized why. As soon as I opened my mouth to speak out, he held his finger up to catch me. "Yea yea I know. You're not my baby." He continued to laugh.
