Chapter 7

"Hey baby!" I heard someone call out right before warm arms snaked their way around my waist.

"Hey." I turned around and wrapped my arms around my Justin's neck.

"You ready to go to lunch?" Justin asked right before he reached down and kissed my lips.

Kissing him back, I closed my eyes and enjoyed every bit of his warm embrace. It wasn't until I pulled back that I saw most of the people in the hallway were staring at us. This didn't bother me but pretty soon they started whispering amongst each other. Knowing that certain rumors were going around, I didn't need any of them confirmed right away. Yea I did give Justin a blow job but I needed to keep that a secret.

"Ignore them." Justin said, looking down at me. I guess he had read my face and could tell that I was getting upset.

"It's hard though."

"I know but come on, we've got bigger priorities on our hands." He grabbed my hand and started leading me towards the cafeteria.

He was right, we did have bigger priorities on our hands. Today was the day that Justin and I were going to tell Sarah that we were dating. Ever since Justin had come over to my house and we officially started dating, we had been discussing how we would tell Sarah. Sarah absolutely hated Justin because she thought he hurt me. In all honestly he did hurt me but I was over it. I had forgiven him and I really like him now. A lot.

Walking into the cafeteria, I saw Sarah sitting over at our usual table. She was eating something out of her lunchbox and scrolling through on her phone. As we got closer to the table, she looked up and gave me a smile. All of a sudden her smile faded when she saw who I was holding hands with.

"Emily what are you doing?" she asked.

Taking a seat in front of her, Justin sat down beside me and continued holding my hand.

"Umm, Justin and I are..."

"You're what?" she stared me in the eyes, not daring to look in Justin's direction.

Her stare made me freeze and I couldn't even speak. Clearing my throat, I looked up at Justin to indicate that I needed help.

He cleared his throat and spoke up. "We are.....we're dating now."

Finally breaking the gaze that we had, she looked over at Justin. Her eyebrows automatically furrowed. "What?"

"Yea..." I decided to speak up. "We are dating now."

"But..." She looked back at me, not sure what to say. "..he hurt you."

She then looked back at Justin. "You were a dick to her! How dare you even try to come back."

"Sarah don't yell at him! I'm the one who wanted him back."

Now she was really confused. "Wait what?"

"Yea, I really like him Sarah. And I'm sorry if you don't but I want to be with him."

Taking a deep breathe, she shared glanced between me and Justin. "Umm, well okay. No I don't like you Justin but if you make Emily happy, then I guess I'll have to get accustomed to you."

"Thank you." Justin threw out in a hushed tone.

"Thank you so much Sarah. That really means a lot to me." I meant it. I didn't know what I would ever do if I had to choose between my best friend and my boyfriend.

"No problem. I'm only doing this because I love you!" She smiled at me.

"Thanks, I love you too."
