"Wow... that was insightful," Peridot admitted. "I agree with you. Come on, don't you want to talk to her later?"
"Of course," Amethyst smiled. "Well, right now, I kinda feel a little embarrassed still, but I'm relieved, in a way, and I'm ready to accept it. Restart?"
"Restart."
Not long after, Pearl warped back to the house with a solemn expression. She stepped down, as Amethyst walked to her.
"Oh... Amethyst... hi," Pearl said guiltily, slight nervousness evident in her voice.
"Pearl, it's okay, really. I've accepted it. And it's fine. I just want to, like, start again, in a way. Let's stay friends, you know? And let's just keep choosing to be happy, 'kay?" Amethyst explained as gently as she can.
"Yes... you're right. Thank you. And most especially for being my friend, and for always being there for me, right? Let's just keep on trying. I understand that issues from the past may come up again, but I just want us to be strong; that should we be disheartened, we may pick up the pieces and try again," Pearl softly, but firmly said, in a way that was somewhat heartwarming. She hugged Amethyst, and the latter hugged her back.
They knew that they wouldn't regret their choice. They knew just how they wanted to restart.
