As I walk over to mine and Harry's spot I am not surprised to see him already sitting there, patiently waiting for my arrival. It is strange to call it our spot, but that is what it has become.
Harry has become constant. I have seen him every day since the ball, not that I have had much say on the matter, he just shows up everywhere I am. I am not complaining. Some time ago he revealed that he enjoys my company, and to be completely honest I enjoy his as well.
"I'm sorry, sir, but I believe you have taken my seat," I say in a joking matter gaining his attention. A smile forms on his lips as his eyes land on me.
"My mistake. I am terribly sorry, m'lady." He moves away from my usual seat as I walk over and sit down beside him.
"Are you here to disturb me again, because if so you can just get up and walk away at once," I tell him sternly as I make myself comfortable on the wooden bench.
"In a way yes." He turns his body so it's facing mine, his green eyes locked with mine. "I wanted to ask if you would accompany me somewhere. Not like the other times where it was either a coincidence or a spontaneous decision, but I have planned a whole evening for just the two of us." I can honestly say I have never seen him the slightest bit of nervous before this moment.
A big smile forms on my lips. I reach my hand out to touch his cheek, and as soon as my skin comes in contact with his he closes his eyes and melts into my touch. "I am never going to finish this book with you around, am I?" He lets out a soft chuckle at my words. His eyes open and meet mine. "I would love to accompany you."
He smiles at me thankful that I said yes. "In that case I need to go take care of some things." He leans closer to me, and seconds later I feel his lips pressed up against my cheek. My eyes widen in surprise. His lips linger as he pulls back, a smile still clear on his face. "Be ready at seven." He says before he stands up, and disappears back in town.
My eyes are still wide as I let my fingertips linger the skin of my cheeks where his lips previously touched. My cheeks turn red, and I can't help but smile as I think of the softness of his lips.

A knock on the door fills the house signaling he is here.
I sigh as I look into the mirror before me taking in my appearance. A blue long dress hugging my curves thankfully just right, and a pair of black heels. They are hidden under the dress, but they are there. The corset under the dress is crushing my lungs as usual, but I have gotten used to it by now.
I haven't told Luna or Olivia about this knowing they would make a much bigger deal out of it then it is. Olivia would most likely already start to play our wedding, which is something that is not going to happen. I see no future with Harry, but for now, I am enjoying myself, so why not live for just now?
I shake my head getting rid of all the thoughts as I turn away from the mirror, and make my way downstairs towards the door. It is already open when I come downstairs revealing Harry standing in the doorway in a black dress over a white dress shirt, buttons open to just below his chest. A single blue orchid in his hand and a smile lighting up his whole face as soon as his eyes land on me making me look away blushing.
"You look ravishing." I look up at him again as I walk closer to him, and out the door.
"I try." He chuckles at my response before looking down at the orchid in his hand.
"I originally had a bouquet, but I met your sister Luna on her way out and she thought they were for her." I let out a laugh knowing that is something my sister would do. A random stranger standing outside our door with flowers, and the first thing she thinks about is that the flowers are for her. "However I did manage to save one flower, so here." He reaches the blue orchid out to me, and I gladly take it.
"Thank you," I say as I smell the pretty flower. "Did you tell her who you are?" He takes the flower from me, and brush my hair behind my ear as he places the flower there. The blue flower matches my dress perfectly.
"No, or I said my name was Heath, but nothing more than that." He says as he starts to walk in the direction of where we are going. I just follow him having no clue as to where we are going.
"I have to be honest I do kind of like the fact that I am the only one that knows your real name." I reach my hand out for his, and whiteout hesitation he intertwines our finger with ease.
"I do too." He says smiling down at me.
He looks away as we continue to walk to wherever we're going. I don't ask seeing as he will never tell me anyway, so I just enjoy the silence as we walk side by side. Minutes later we stop outside of a restaurant.
Harry opens the door for me, and the first thing I notice once I step inside is all the looks of sympathy from the girls directed towards me. It's not hard to understand they are some of the ladies Harry has slept with, because if they weren't they wouldn't know what he looks like. They are probably thinking that I am his newest sacrifice. Maybe they got dinner as well before he took them with him home.
Harry drags me by my hand towards our table. He is kind and pulls out the chair for me before sitting down himself.
"I really recommend the grilled chicken with salad," Harry says as he studies the menu. Was I right? Has he been taking the other girls here, and that is why he also has the ability to recommend something from the menu?
"Sure," I reply fast feeling that my mood has now been dragged down.
"I can order that for the both of us then." He puts the menu down looking over at me from the other side of the very small table. I haven't even picked up my menu to look at any other options.
"Yeah." My reply is short once again not feeling like talking at the moment.
I hear Harry sigh across from me. "What's wrong?" He asks leaning his elbows on the table.
"Nothing." Is all I say as I look around the room avoiding his eyes, and when I do I lock eyes with one of the girls that stared at me earlier. Her eyes still hold sympathy for me, and I don't know why it makes me so angry. Harry seems to notice since I feel his hand capture my own.
"Ignore them." Is all he says. I bring my attention back on him, looking him in the eyes for the first time since we came in here. "I know what you are thinking, and I can assure you that you are not like them. I have been here before yes, but always alone, never with anyone of them. Let them think what they want because you know the truth. You know that this is different."
I let out a big breath finding his words relaxing. I finally feel like I can relax even with them staring at my every movement. They think I will end up like them, but they still secretly sit there and wish that this was them a second time. "You're right, I'm sorry. I shouldn't let them affect me like that." He squeezes my hands in comfort before letting go.
The waiter comes to take our order, and Harry says exactly what we want. The waiter soon disappears to get us our drinks.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask hesitantly not knowing if what I will ask is a subject he wants to avoid or not.
"Anything."
"What did you mean when you said you waited for someone to fulfill their promise to you." Seconds after my words left my lips I can see his face turn into a frown. It turns quiet, and he just sits there for unknown reasons to me. His eyes flicker from one side of the floor to another.
"When I was very young." He starts off by saying but keeps his eyes on the floor. "My mother left me with my grandmother because she wanted to live her dream as an actress. My grandma thought that was just another word for prostitute." Harry chuckles at his own words remembering the moment. He finally allows himself to look up. "She couldn't care for me since she needed to move around all of the time, but she promised me that one day if I waited for her here she would come back."
I don't say anything, I just take his hands in mine. His eyes are now locked on our hands as I let my thumb caress his skin. He couldn't leave whiteout seeing her again first. One part of me wanted to tell him that I would wait with him, but the other part of me knows that I won't be able to keep that promise.
Soon after the food came we both found a lighter subject to talk about, bringing the mood up. After we were done eating we paid our share. Harry offered to pay for it all, but I am more than capable to pay for myself. We left the restaurant and started making our way back.
