I know, I know—Percy and Annabeth again. However, the summary did say that, so, you know what? Yes, Percy and Annabeth again. SCREW WHAT YOU HATERS THINK!
Sorry, my tired mind is going crazy. Anyway, this is more of a headcanon, but whatever.
One night, while the Argo II flew to Greece (after they had passed through the House of Hades) the Seven sat around the table, discussing battle plans.
Finally, Percy sighed wearily and slumped back, running a hand through his hair.
"This would have been so much easier if I had taken up that whole immortality thing," he muttered. The whole group fell silent, staring at Percy in a mixture of shock and awe (aside from Annabeth, of course).
Finally, Jason spoke up.
"Percy. Immortality? What on Olympus could make you pass that up?"
Percy gave a small smile, but didn't answer. Next, the group turned to Annabeth for answers, but she was lost in thought, a wistful smile on her face, as though reliving happy memories.
All anyone could think was 'oh.'
'Oh' is right. He just came back from falling into Tartarus for her, and you can't figure it out? Actually, I probably wouldn't have gotten it either, so I should quit trashing you. Hehe ^_^
Goodnight!
