Harry: Growing up an only child has been a curse for most of your life. Being picked on in school you were left to defend yourself which is okay but it's better to have help. And when you wanted somewhere to go you didn't have anyone other than your parents to ask so when they were busy the answer was flat no.

Anther disadvantage is you didn't have anyone to pick for your made of honor in this situation. Through generations they have kept the maid of honor position on the family. Sisters only. But you have to be the one to break the chain and it hurts you because you would have wanted a sister to be in this position.

But luckily there is a bright side Gemma is here to fill the position. You love Gemma very very much and she is just like your biological sister. She would do anything for you and she loves you just as much as you do her.

Liam: When you were growing up you and your cousin (Y/F/C/N) were very close. When she got married you were her Maid of honor, you were very happy and excited to be there for her on one of the most special days of her life. And now you are returning the favor.

"Hey girl haven't heard from you in a month" she squeals over the phone.

"Hey (Y/F/C/N), I have something really important to ask you."

"Sure babe anything!"

"I am gonna be getting married"

"I know! And to that delicious hunk of man you have!"

"Well we will be having wedding and I want you to be my maid of honor"

"Oh my god really!"

"Yeah"

"Oh god of course I will O-M-G. I can't wait!"

"Me neither the invitation will be coming soon"

"Okay thank you (Y/N)!"

"You're welcome!"

Louis: With Harry being Louis' best friend and his girlfriend being one of your best friends it was only natural for you to pick her as your maid of honor. But you haven't asked her yet so one day you were talking and you gave her a little box.

"Whats this for?" She asks quietly she opens the box with a necklace. Then a note on the lid of the box. "Will you be my maid of honor?" She reads "Oh my gosh, yes of course I will." She squeals

"Thank you"

"No thank you!"

Niall: Your sister was the only one you wanted to be there for you in this situation. She meant the world to you and you wanted to find a special way to ask her to.be your maid of honor. Then you decided to get her a cake.

You met up with her and handed her the cake and she gave you a goofy smile.

"What is this for"

"Read it" you push and she looks down.

"Will you be my maid of honor" she reads and then smiles at you. You see a tear run down her face. "Of course I will!" She was so excited to be asked.

Zayn: Zayn was always laid back and left all the wedding planning to you. But when you said that you weren't going to have a maid of honor he started to freak out a little bit. He kept asking why and when you told him that you didn't see the importance he started to name off reasons why you need one.

After about an hour of convincing you finally decided that you would have one but couldn't figure out who would want to do it 

"Well you're an only child so why don't you ask one of my sisters, I am sure they would be thrilled to help out" he suggests and you smile.

"See you like helping plan the wedding"
