Pregnancy Series - First Sonogram...

Harry: You break pieces of the cracker off and chew it between your front teeth as you and Harry wait for the doctor. Your first appointment is today and you were anxious. Harry was holding onto your hand with his while handing you crackers with the other.

"Good afternoon, is this room taken?" The doctor smiles, her small figure almost too small to see. She looks at you as you lay back and relax against the table. "Alright so let's get started shall we" she snaps the gloves on and squirts the chilling gel on your stomach.

She spreads it around a little before turning on the monitor and moving the wand around a little more. The screen clear but hard to see at the same time. The doctor points to the circle on the screen, the bigger one.

"This is the womb, and this little peanut shaped thing is your baby" she points again to the little peanut on the screen.

"Awe" you say again then put the cracker down. For the first time since before you found out you don't feel the heartburn anymore. All you can feel is the love for this baby.

Liam: He was pacing the room quietly and you were trying to keep your breakfast down. He was nervous because this was his first child, it was your first child and all he wanted was for this baby to be healthy and very happy and ready to come into the world. But you on the other hand were scared. You were scared that there might be complications down the road and that something could happen. It was was too early to tell but right now it is crucial that you do as much as you can to keep the baby safe and healthy while they are in there.

The nurse comes into the room and smiles at the crowd waiting.

"Payne" You guys stand up and you walk back the hall with her she puts you in the first room available. "The doctor will be in shortly, so you need to put this on and then just relax okay" She smiles and leaves the room. Liam waits int he hallway while you change. You tell Liam to come back in then you both wait patiently go the doctor.

"Hello, I'm Dr.Delany" The doctors shakes both your hands before sitting down in the chair in front of you.

"Okay first things first we will take care of the sonogram then the exam"

"Exam? For what? Is something wrong? Will this hurt the baby? If it will I don't want it done" Liam starts to panic and the doctor shakes her head.

"The exam is for us to see how she is doing in terms of pregnancy. It's for her vaginal area and it will not hurt the baby."

"Oh" he feels a bit foolish but you are his wife and you are carrying his child so it's only normal for him to worry.

"It's okay to worry and be concerned. It's normal for new fathers." She assures him. "But we are going to start the sonogram now" she puts the stuff on you stomach before moving the wand around your belly. You watch the inside of your body pop up on the screen. She keeps the wand on the lower part of your stomach and moves it around to find the womb.

"Here we go, this is your womb" she says and points to the giant sack "this thing here is your little baby" the little thing she points to is a fair size "your baby is at an okay size so you are a little further along maybe a week longer than we thought. But that's good"

Louis: Louis and you were very nervous, when you got around to booking your appointment at the doctor you were already starting to get a little bump. So when you went it its was obvious that you were pregnant.

"(Y/N)" You stand up and Louis squeezes your hand as you both walk back the hall with the nurse.

"She will be in momentailry" She says before descending. You get onto the table and wait for her to come in. When she does she smiles at you.

"Alright lets get started. Please lay back and get comfy, then roll up your shirt." You do so and she lies a towel down on your legs before spreading the jelly and moving the wand around.

"You seem to have quite the bump, you look to be around about four and a half months"

"Wow" The nurse turns up the volume and the baby's heartbeat fills the room.

"That's my baby" Louis whispers and kisses your forehead.

Niall: He wanted to be with you when you went in for the sonogram. He wasn't sure how a lot of it worked but he needed to learn. So when you guys were in the room he was pacing.

"So what is this all for" he picks up the tool to open your cervix and looks at it.

"Well that opens my cervix" he throws it back onto the tray before moving over by the baby display. He touches the small toy and it falls out. He hits it then catches it and puts it back in place.

"Good morning," she comes in and Niall clears his throat "any nausea"

"Little bit, yes" Niall answers before you can.

"I actually meant (Y/N) but antacid tablets will help" she suggests and you giggle. She smiles at you

"Can you lie back please" you nod and lay back on your back, she turns on the monitor, she puts the gel on you and moves the wand around. She points "here is your baby"

"Look Niall" You say and he comes over and holds your hand.

"Oh My God"

"I know"

Zayn: He didn't want to go. He stayed at home and invited the boys over while you went by yourself. You had waited in the waiting room while Louis and Liam grilled Zayn.

"How could you not go" Louis says to him in disbelief.

"Malik" The nurse calls, you stand and she smiles at you, "if you will follow me" She took you back the hall to an exam room with lots of tools and things laying on a tray. It scared you.

"I didn't want to go, I shouldn't have to"

"But its your son or daughter Zayn" Liam tries to reason but Zayn just rolls his eyes.

"We did not plan this, it's too early for a baby" After changing into the backless paper gown, the doctor comes in and introduces herself explaining everything she about to do. Then when she was finished she started the exam part. She likes to do things a little differently than other doctors.

"Zayn a baby is a blessing" Louis argues

"And a worry" Zayn adds

"But they are worth the worry" Liam says.

Soon after she gets everything set up she starts the sonogram explaining what everything is she points to a little figure on the screen. "This is your baby" she smiles, you smile at her before tearing up. Later when Zayn was in his office you went to the door and debated on what to do. Then you just slid the picture under the door and went upstairs to bed. Later he found the picture on the floor and picked it up. He examined it for a few minutes before laying it on his desk and leaving the room to go to bed.
