Defying Gravity

Simons POV

The day is nearly over, when a young girl step out on the stage. "Hello" i say to her "Hello" "Hi whats your name?" I ask her. "My name is Beau Dermott." "And how old are you?" "I am 12 years old" she replys. "And who do you here with?" I continue. I always liked to ask the contestants thinks aboht themselves. It makes a lot of things easier, but in the same way more difficult to judge about the talent. "I am here with my mom, my dad and my brother." Sounds like a very proud family, i think to myself and hope in the same way, that I would be able to have my own little family one day. "are you nervous?" I ask Beau as I focus on her agin. "Yes" she anwesers and laughs. "and whats the song you gonna sing?" "I'm gonna sing 'Defying Gravity' from the musical 'Wicked' " "yes" i can hear Amandas clear and excited voice in my ear. "oh wow" is the only thing i could get out of my mouth. I can tell that,..." It's a hard song" I turny face to Amanda. I can not believe, that she just finished my thoughts. Focus, Simon, focus. "Ok. Well, good luck." I am not quite sure if she is able to make it, but lets see.

Amandas POV

"My God" I say while Beau is singing. She is incredible. I am having a goosebumb all over my body. I am quite sure: She is my golden Buzzer! Looking over to Simon, I realize, that he is smiling. When she finishs singing, we and the whole audience is giving her stabding ovations, as I hear, that they want the golden Buzzer.

Simons POV

I see her standing up and pushing the golden Buzzer. I can see, that she nearly breaks down in tears, in the same happy way Beau does. I quickly pull her into a warm long hug and concratulate her to her amazing golden girl. Afted Alesha and David did the same, she walks up to Beau. I can see her really truly happy for the first time today. I know that something has changed within her, something is not the same, but I push all my doubts away and forgott them, because she seems really happy.

As Beau was the last Audition for today, we head back to the judges room. While the girls, quickly change into normal outfits, David and I sit down on the couch and talk about the day, we left behind. We had a lot of funny, amazing but also boring and worse auditions, but all in all? It was an amazing first day. As Amanda sit down next to me I put my arms around her shoulders and she leans against my chest. "You got a good one." I say to her after a while. "I know she is just amazing." She smiles, an i start to wonder if I overacted a little bit in the morning and she really just had a bad start in the day.
