Writers POV
Amanda and Simon walk side by side through London. They enjoy the shopping time, and the time they had together. It is nearly 3 pm as they walk inside the office of her doctor.
Amanda's POV
The nurse told us, that we had to wait a couple of minutes, so she send us to the waiting room. Luckily nobody else is sitting in there. I still do not want anybody to know about this, I am just not ready. I am not able to sit in silence for a minute. I am moving on my chair, stand up and sit down again. I am clearly nervous about what the doctor is going to say. "Calm down darling!" I heard a familiar voice behind me saying " It makes you just more nervous, than you already are." I turn around, looking in Simons face. He is smiling, but I can say, that he is nearly as nervous as I am. I sit myself next to him and he takes my hand. "We are going to beat this fu**ing cancer." He says after a minute of silence. "Yes, we will." I reply with a strong voice. "Miss Holden? Treating room number 3 please." the nurse says.
We get up and make our way to the treating room. We sit down on the chairs, next to the doctors table. We sit in silence until the doctor, Mr. Spark, enters the room. " Hello Mr. Cowell, nice to meet you! Miss Holden, How are you feeling today?"
"Except that I did not have much sleep last night, pretty well." I say not lying. When I learned something from Mr. Spark, that I am not in the position to lie, when he asks about my well-being. "Sounds good. I know it was not really sensible to tell you diagnosis of breast cancer on the phone, but under the circumstances of Britains got Talent I saw no other options." He apologizes and smiles politely at me. I just nod my head to signal him, that it is ok. "So now I tell you something about the therapy methods we have. From the point of view right now, I would say we make a surgery and destroy the last parts with a chemotherapy." He looks at me, waiting for the answer. "Aren't there other options?" I hear Simons voice. " Non which are as successful as this one is." Mr. Spark answers. I know I have no other option to take. I am really scared of everything that will come, of every challenge I have to face. "Okay!" I say out of the blue "When do we start?" "Miss Holden are you really sure?" "Yes I am!" "Okay we have to do this step by step. First we have to make an appointment for the surgery." He explains to me.
Simons POV
We make an appointment to discuss everything about the surgery and then we leave. "I am able to do this, or?" She ask me while we are walking along the Themse. I take her hand. "Listen to me. You are the strongest woman I have ever met and you can do this. So now stop worrying and start enjoy the life again." I start running pulling her with me and I first stop when we reach the next ice cream store.
