Simons POV

The morning went by and I could feel the fear which Amanda had because of the surgery she has to face. We get along with it and try to just go through the day like nothing special should happen later.

The hours flew by and when the clock turns 1 pm I call for Amanda who told me she would get ready upstairs. "Darling come on, we have to go." I shout from the bottom of the stairs. "I'll be right there. One Minute Si." She shouts back. "Ok darling, I'll be counting. 60,59,58,57...." I continue counting the numbers down and when I reach the 10 I hear Amanda walking down the stairs. "I am here. We can go." She says smiling and I begin to think if she could be so evil to me and waited ready upstairs just to make sure I would count down to zero.

We did not speak much on the way to the hospital. Out of the blue Amanda turn the radio louder. She looks over to me and takes my hand."I always loved this song." She whispers.

I smile. I loved this song to and I knew the lyrics by heart. When I hold on the red traffic light I look into Amanda's eyes and sing along.

She smiles and gives me a little kiss. Suddenly we hear car horns behind us and we realize, that the traffic light already turned green. We laugh and continue driving.
