"Henry? You didn't tell us you were coming back!" Iris' voice came as she exited out of the kitchen to see who had come through the door. She assumed it was Barry back from the lab. Henry smiled. "Hello mom." He hugged her as she approached him to give him a hug. "I wanted it to be a surprise." "Well. You definitely surprised me." Iris grinned. "I'm surprised you have gotten some time off. Seems like you have been quite busy." He nods. "Yes I have. But actually, I am sort of here on work. I have a client here, we're planning on meeting today. I'll be staying for a week. Or about a week. Depends on how well the meeting and things go with the client." Iris nods. "Well when is your meeting? Your dad should be home soon." Henry glanced over at the clock. "In two hours."
As Henry had exited the meeting room where he had been discussing some tactics with his client, he made his way down the hall. He was done for the day so he planned on heading back home. He stalled mid step when he heard a familiar voice from a nearby room. He watched as a second later, Laurel and Andrew Diggle walked out. "Laurel.." He looked at her shocked. He couldn't quite believe that the patient she had been talking about was none other than Drew. Laurel stalled as she heard her name being called and turned around. She took a deep breath seeing who had called her name. "Henry? What are you doing here?"
Henry slowly approached closer to her. "The better question is Laurel. What are you doing here? And none other than with Andrew? This is my home remember?" She sighed a little. "I remember quite well Henry... I am here with Andrew because he is my patient. I was assigned to him." "You helped him get out of jail? Are you insane!" Henry hissed, his voice raising a little louder. "You do remember.."
"I remember exactly very well." Laurel said glaring at him in return. Henry took a deep breath to try and calm down. "Look Laurel.. I know..." "My job is to help people Henry. And I am going to do whatever it takes. He deserves a chance to change as well. He's not brainwashed as one of Damien's minions like his father was. He's just in a bad place! And if someone was able to help him..." Henry let out a low growl. "My job also is to protect people too Laurel. And you really think you are going to be the one to get through to him?" "I am not at liberty to discuss this. And I need to get going. I'm late.." Henry watched as Laurel left following Andy. He continued to make his way out to the car kicking some rocks in frustration as he did so. Once he got into the car, he slammed the door shut and took off towards his house, doing some major speeding.
Why the hell would Laurel bring Andy to Central City? He grew up in Star City And why the hell would she be trying to help him? But of course he already knew why. To get revenge on him and Sara. Henry pulled into the parking lot and got out of the car, slamming the door shut once again. Once he got inside the house, he closed the door behind him and leaned his back against the door, closing his eyes briefly to calm down. "I take it the meeting didn't go so well?" Iris' voice came from the livingroom. Henry opened his eyes and turned towards his mother. "Mom.. I didn't see you there." She raises her eye slightly.
"Care to tell me what's going on?" Henry walked over and sat down across from her on the couch. "The meeting went well.. A lot better than the last one actually." Iris was watching him closely. "Mmhmm.. But something else is bothering you." Henry hesitated to tell his mother. She of course knew of the situation. Everyone did. Laurel made sure of that when it happened to get back at him and Sarah. She also of course knew the situation with John and his brother Andrew. "I um. I ran into Laurel today." Iris stayed silent for a few minutes before nodding her head. "I see. I can tell by your expression that it obviously didn't go well?" Henry looked at her rolling his eyes. "That is an understatement. She was with her own patient at the time. Her patient?... None other than Andrew Diggle."
"I saw the news. That he escaped. Your dad has contacted Oliver to warn them. But they seemed to have known this already. Andrew had gone to the Diggle house first with threats to hurt Lyla or Sarah." Henry leaned back on the couch frustrated. "She's helping him mom. She thinks that he still has a chance of changing." He shakes his head slightly. Iris gently placed her hand on his arm. "Look. I know you wish things could've worked out better.. But. Maybe things will somehow turn around..." Henry glanced over at his mom. "I'm not so sure of that. Not with this new information." He stands up and grabs his jacket. "Where are you going?" Iris asks watching him closely. "I'm going out. I won't be long.."
