"How are you doing? Since William's been gone and on tour?" Laurel asked when she and Sarah had been hanging out, as Henry had been busy with a couple of cases. Sarah lets out a small sigh. "I'm doing okay. But it's rather boring." Laurel grinned a little. "Well. Perhaps you should go to one of his concerts and surprise him." She pointed out. Sarah shook her head. "I can't do that. I don't want him to lose focus on anything." Laurel raises her eye slightly. "He's a singer. What's there to lose focus on? I bet he would love it." Sarah smiled, cheering up slightly. "You think so?" Laurel nodded. " I am sure of it." Sarah grew quiet, looking to consider the option. "I don't really have the money to purchase the ticket." "You don't necessarily have to go to the concert. You can find out where he's playing at and surprise him there. We can look online and figure out where he is staying." She smirked.
Sarah laughed a little. "I don't know if WIlliam likes surprises very much.." Laurel shook her head. "You need to have more self confidence. Of course he would love you as the surprise." Sarah blushed a little, feeling slightly awkward at the change of topic. "I will think about it." She said,
"Are you sure you don't want to come out with us?" Henry asked Sarah before they made their way out to the bar. Sarah nodded. "I'm just going to stay in and catch up on my reading." Henry raised his eye slightly. "It's nothing major like a date or anything. We're just going out on a social gathering. You're welcomed to join.." Sarah shook her head. "I'm fine here.." Henry nodded. "If you change your mind..." "I know. And thanks.." Sarah watched as Laurel and Henry exited out of the house then grabbed her book to sit on the couch and read, to take her mind off things.
At the knock at the door, Sarah looks up narrowing her eyes slightly. Who could that be? Laurel and Henry had just left and Andy and Melissa were out on their own as well. She gets up and sets the book down on the couch before making her way over to the door. Before opening the door, since it was Laurel and Henry's house, she peaked through the curtain of the window to see who it was. She smiled when she saw who was standing there. She quickly opened the door. "William!" William smiled back wrapping his arms around Sarah as she had flung her arms around his neck to hug him. He took a deep breath. "Sarah. I was hoping you'd be around.."
She slowly pulled back after a few seconds. "What are you doing back here? Don't you have a show?" He nods. "Yeah. But not till tomorrow. Tonight is my day off... I wanted to come and surprise you." Sarah smiled. "That's ironic. Laurel thought I should have come to surprise you." She said turning slightly red. William laughed a little. "I guess I was reading your mind." He winked. Sarah stepped aside so William could come in. He took a quick glance around before looking at Sarah. "Where are Henry and Laurel?" He asked. "They went out."
"Have you eaten yet?" WIlliam asked looking at Sarah as they made their way into the living room. She shook her head. "No. Not yet. I was just going to grab some snacks later." William raised his eye slightly. "Sarah... Is everything alright?" He asked, thinking she seemed to be acting strange. Sarah looked at him curiously. "Yes. Everything is fine. Why would you ask?" WIlliam shrugged a little. "I am just making sure. Would you like me to make us something? Or we can go out to eat." He smiled awkwardly. Sarah tilted her head slightly. "We should probably go out. I would hate to eat up all of Laurel and Henry's food." She teased. William laughed a little. "Your choice.." "It's been awhile since I've been to a restaurant. And I am craving pizza." William laughed. "Pizza it is." "I'll just leave a note to let them know where I am at so they won't worry." William nodded then watched her as she disappeared into the kitchen to grab a pad and pen. Once she wrote the note, she reappeared. "Ready?" She asked. He glances up at her and smiles. "Ready." He extends his arm to offer assistance. Sarah smiled back and walks over to him, accepting the offer, following him out of the house.
