As Oliver was working on mending Andrew's leg, he could hear angry footsteps coming into the cave. He glanced up to see his daughter entering the cave. "What the hell happened?' Laurel hissed as she approached her father. Oliver sighs a little. "Laurel. I had no choice.. He was posing threats." He knew obviously that Laurel would be mad at him taking their side. But he would still do what he thought was right. He couldn't let Andy harm Henry and Sarah, even if he was mad at them for betraying his daughter, and of course Barry and John would never forgive him if he allowed anything to happen to their children.
"He's always threatening dad.. Perhaps if he knew there was one person that could believe he could change, he actually just might..." Oliver sighed again.. "Laurel sweetie. I have seen people like Andy. He has been at this revenge path for so long. I don't think he will come out of it. Though I would like to think like you and see that he does, I just don't think it will be true. I thought I would be able to help change Slade, and look where that got me? Just please be careful if you keep up with this case. I don't want you getting hurt." Laurel shook her head. "Perhaps John should have tried a little harder with his brother..." "It was a lot more complicated than that.." Oliver tried to explain. Though he knew it would be very hard to persuade Laurel. As she didn't only inherit her hot headed side from Felicity, but him as well. And his, was much worse than his wife's.
After Oliver had called Henry, Henry agreed that he would come down and meet with Andy, and hope he would cooperate enough to make some kind of arrangement. Andy was still resting in the cave when Henry showed up. He sighed a little spotting Laurel sitting next to him. This isn't going to go well. He thought. Laurel glanced up as she heard someone approaching them. "Henry? What are you doing here?" He took a deep breath knowing she wasn't going to like his answer. "I need to ask him some questions.. Regarding my client.." Laurel glared at him. "He needs rest.."
"Looks like you can use a drink.." Henry heard a familiar voice nearby. He turns to see Sarah. Due to the circumstance with Drew, he was forced to stay here in Star City. Laurel still wasn't letting him talk to Drew. As the bartender handed him his drink he ordered, he held his glass up as he took a hold of it. "One step ahead of you." He muttered. "I'm assuming the talk with Diggle went as well as to be expected?" Henry sighed. "Worse. Laurel wouldn't even let me talk to him. She's practically guarding him like a hawk..' Sarah sits down on the stool next to Henry. "I know it's an even longer shot. But perhaps I can talk to her?" Henry raises his eye slightly. "That might not be a good idea. What can I get you to drink?" After Henry and Sarah had visited for a while, the two of them agreed, that it was time to tell Laurel the truth. They knew that Laurel was simply still lashing out at them and would do whatever it took to get even, even meaning helping their enemy. Whom even himself had hurt Laurel on occasions.
"I told you he needs.." Laurel said looking up to see Henry coming back to the cave, but stopped mid sentence when she saw who was with him. She gave the two a small glare. "Nothing has changed I see since we all left."
Sarah approached her first. "Look Laurel, just, at least hear us out. There was a reason leading to the events that had happened. And I know it isn't a valid reason. And we shouldn't of done such a thing.." Laurel narrowed her eyes slightly. "I am not exactly sure I am following you." Sarah ran her fingers through her hair and glanced over to see Andy still sleeping. "Perhaps we should discuss this topic elsewhere?" Sarah said. Laurel rolled her eyes. "He's out cold from pain medication. I highly doubt he is going to hear whatever it is you have to say.."
Henry sighs a little as he knew it was his turn to speak up. "Please don't hate me. But what I have kept from you, it was to keep you safe. Knowing my dad's history..." Laurel stared at him as he began to explain. As she heard what he was saying, she takes a deep breath. She knew exactly where he was getting at. She let out a small laugh. "Oh please Henry. If you're trying to tell me that you are the new flash..." She stood up and took a step closer to him. "I knew that a long time ago." She hissed. "You must take me for a fool. I knew it was possible that you could inherit his meta-human powers. I had been suspicious for a long time. I have done my own research. I'm a doctor remember? Which is why, what I did, was all more for the perfect revenge. Andy was trying to prove me a point. He set the whole thing up, and you two played right into his hand!"
