You.
"Damn it's cold up here." Dinah says, rubbing her arms.
I roll my eyes and hand her the hoodie. "Happy now?"
"Ecstatic." She replies, pulling the grey material over her head and then rubbing the sleeves in an attempt to get warmer. "Hey baby." She says, pecking my lips.
I try to fight the smile on my face but it doesn't even work.
"So what did you want to talk about?" She asks, getting comfortable across me.
"I actually got a job offer yesterday." I tell her and she smiles widely.
"Really? Doing what?"
"Taking pictures and running social media and web pages." I shrug. "It really sounds like a Y/N job."
"That it does." She agrees. "So, where is it? What company? Do I know it?"
"Actually... I got the offer from your manager, Matthew."
"Matthew?" Her eyebrows crinkle in confusion. "I don't know a Matthew."
"Oh." I facepalm. "I meant Max. I need to get the dudes name right."
"Max?" She questions. "Wow. Who for?"
"Fifth Harmony." I tell her and her eyes widen again.
"No way." She says in a squeaky voice and then embraces me. "Are you kidding?"
"Do you really think that I would be sitting in the damn cold on top of a roof with you if I was making this whole story up?" I ask her. "I'd rather it be in front of a fireplace but that's not going to happen."
"So where does this chimney lead to?" She asks, pointing at the part I'm leaning against.
"Oh." I look at it. "Its just a trap for Santa. Every year we tell my younger siblings that when he comes, he's going to fall straight into our living room. But we have to make sure that they're asleep first."
"That's cute babe. But back to the job offer." She taps me lightly. "Did you accept?"
"Not yet." I tell her truthfully.
"And why not?"
"Because I needed to think about it." I tell her and her eyebrows crinkle again.
She's such a cute little puppy.
"You thought twice about traveling the world with me?" She asks in a hurt tone.
"Its not just about you." I reply. "Its about the pros and cons."
"So I'm a con?"
"I never said that." I defend myself. "This isn't an argument Dinah, it's a conversation. I had to think about everything before agreeing, which I did and I'm going to tell Matthew - "
"Max." She corrects me.
"That I accept tomorrow." I finish my statement with an eye roll.
"If you're going to work for the guy, you're going to have to know his name." She giggles and I nod.
I then lean forward and kiss her forehead. "And by the way, traveling around the world with you was the first thing on my pro list."

"I heard you just gave in your resignation." Melissa states as she stands near my desk.
"And I heard that you're a homewrecker. Whats new?"
