Ch. 8

I stood there not saying anything just looking into her emerald green eyes. They looked cold and empty and dead. After long silences she finally spoke,"May I come in". Her voice was flat just as lifeless as her eyes. "Oh..umm...sure", I said as she entered to room. "Hey Mel who was at the do-",Griffen began to say as he came into the "living room" but stopped. His eyes grew wide when her saw her. "Jess is that you?",he said in complete shock. "But..how?".

As soon as her eyes met his I could tell exactly what he was thinking...that's not her. "My name is Tessa and I'm an angel of the lord."

WHAT, I thought to myself ...this can't be possible. After she said that I heard a loud thud. I turned around to see Griffen on the floor...past out...ugh he fainted. "So if your an angel then why are you here.",Dean said as he got up from the couch and made his way over to me and stumbling over Griffen in the process. "Simple I'm to stop the premature deaths",She said plainly.  "what",I questioned. "Theres two reapers who've gone rouge and I was sent to eliminate them". ,she sighed", and I need your assistance".

"Firstly how can we trust you anyone can just waltz in here claim to be an angel and secondly why should we help you",Dean snapped. Just then there was a huge flash of light and two shadows of dark wings appeared on the walls. "I know you'll help me because if you don't more people will die so no need to fight me on this",she said calmly as her wings faded and Dean rolled his eyes and sighed he knew she was right. "But you got it wrong its Dullahan not reapers", I said. "Foolish human reapers and dullahans are one in the same, reapers can appear in many forms depending on how someone believes it to appear, some see a woman with no head others may see a person clothed in darkness its all the same", she explained. "Ok so what can we help you with", I asked as dean glared at me I could tell he didn't trust this thing one bit. "I need to know the last person who's seen the reapers", she said. "Well why don't you have your feather tailed friends up there help you out, your holy beings right you should be able to find two reapers no problem",Dean said mockingly. She went a little red,"Stupid human this is my assignment and mine alone I don't help from my brothers and sisters",She snapped.

"Now humans answer my question stop wasting my valuable time lives are on the line and if I don't get the information I need to stop these two there will be more lives lost",she said urgently.  "I get it I get it know need to shout we're in a motel after all",Dean said smuggle. She went quiet,"fine if you don't want to help me then you can watch innocent people die I could care less",she said coldly as she turned towards the door. "Hey",I said,"we never said we wouldn't help you".

"So who was a the last person to see the reapers?" "Her name is Beth Perry she's recovering in a hospital on the other side of town", I said. "Okay then I have no time to lose",she said and with that she vanished like POOF. "Wait...damn",I sighed",coming on Dean lets go". Dean grabbed the keys to the car and we both headed for the hospital,at that point I guess we both forgot about Griffen who was still  pasted out on the dirty motel floor. We got in the car as normal Dean was in the drivers seat but this was the first time I got to ride shotgun. The ride there was short and quiet, I guess he didn't want to talk to me after I agreed to help the angel when he made it clear that he didn't trust her and he has a right but still... if I can save someone then I will. Five minutes we got to the hospital where we saw Tessa. "Hey why aren't you up in her room",I asked. She looked at me with the most confused look on her face.

"Well I told the woman up front that I was here to see Ms. Perry and that I was an angel of the lord but all she did was laugh...I don't understand did I say something amusing",she questioned. "Wow",Dean scoffed,"Listen Tess can I call you that, anyway we humans have a method for this exact situation it's called....lying",he said as if it were magic.
"Ugh we don't have time for this Dean come on",I sighed as I grabbed he's hand and pulled him along as we entered the hospital.
"Hey back for more",Charlie smiled. "Umm..yes that's exactly why I'm here..umm yeah I'm here for...for...for umm",I started to panic. "Hey",Dean smiled,"I'm Josh I'm here with her to snap some pictures for the newspaper, it's nice to meet such a gorgeous woman like yourself",he said with a wink. (Ok time to go) That's when I grabbed his hand a dragged him down the hall towards the elevator but out of the corner of my eye I saw him send a "call me" signal at her.
"What was that for",he asked as we entered the elevator. "You didn't have to pull me out like that". "Oh really you were flirting with her when there's a live on the line you need to get your priorities straight",I said. "Hey now I helped distract her and avoid supination so I thing those means justify themselves now let focus on the task at hand ok",he said with a grin. I rolled my eyes. We arrived on the floor and walked down the hall. It was dark with only one window at the far end of the hall that gave only a little light. As we travel down the dark hallway I could see something a dark figure which turned out to be .....Tess??? "How did you get here so fast",I question.

"Simple I teleported",she said. "And you didn't think to tell us ",I asked a bit annoyed. "Well you never asked and",she stopped. "Quickly",she shouted and she opened the door.

"Annnd your to late ",said a familiar voice. The woman was standing over the body that was lying in the bed as if asleep. The woman wore a sinister smile . Emily?!

"That's the name ",she smiled,"and I know you to miss melody ...a hunter really you almost had me and my husband fooled and if you had fooled us you would have kept you life but my husband and I have a great thing going on there and I don't need you or those stupid brothers poking there noses where they don't belong",
"So that's why you and Dean and whoever your with are going to die right here right now",she smiled. "The only to die tonight is you",Tessa shouted as she ran at her. "TESSA NO!"

Meanwhile~
"Uh my head",Griffen groaned as he lifted himself up. "Hey look at it this way once I'm done you won't have to worry about headaches anymore then again you'll be dead",smirked the man in the shadows.
